One of the beloved animated series, Creature Commandos, has finally come to an end. However, this doesn't mean there's no more story to tell, as the Season 1 finale has perfectly set the stage for the next chapter, which is expected to feature The Bride leading her new team.
As seen in Creature Commandos Season 1 finale, "A Very Funny Monster," The Bride didn't just prevent World War III but also killed Princess Ilana, avenging her friend Nina Mazursky’s death. The team planned to kill the Princess underwater, but little did they know that their teammate would die.
The episode also dives into Nina's backstory, revealing that she was born with lungs outside her body. Her father, who was a scientist, attempted to save Nina, but she ended up becoming a mutant with gills.
When Nina gets captured, her father approaches her and tells her that she's the greatest gift to him, but before he can say more, the police officers shoot him. The scene then shifts to Nina, all set to kill the Princess but gets stabbed instead.
The Bride is told about her fate and later confronts Ilana, revealing that Circe’s vision was accurate all along. The Princess tried hard to mislead everyone, but The Bride didn't hesitate while taking her out with a bullet to the head.
During the final scene of Creature Commandos Season 1, The Bride is seen awarded with a new Commandos team by Amanda Waller. Continue reading to explore who has joined her for a potential new mission.
Which character will join the new team in Creature Commandos Season 2?
The misfits have shown their power and ability to carry out the most dangerous missions, and now The Bride is all set to lead the new team in Creature Commandos Season 2. While Amanda didn't congratulate her in person, she ensured Bride got recognition by giving her own team.
Here are the five characters, some old and some new, who will join The Bride's Task Force M in Season 2:
1) Nosferata
Yes, you read it right! The winged humanoid creature whom fans saw earlier inside the prison has now become a member of Task Force M. In the last episode, John takes Bride to the Non-Human Internment Division and tells her about the new team. When the door opens, Bride witnesses two of her old teammates and the new ones, including Nosferata, playing ping pong with Dr. Phosphorus.
2) Khalis
Creature Commandos has also welcomed Khalis as the new team member in Season 2. He's an iconic DC mummy who is tied to the misfits. In the DC comics, Khalis is described as having notable supernatural powers and is expected to help his teammate in the upcoming chapter. He's seen sitting on a sofa and busy knitting.

3) King Shark
The last new member we see during the end of Creature Commdos Season 1 is King Shark, who looks at Bride and says, "You get dumb haircut." Fans would have recognized him from The Suicide Squad, and now he has joined a new team of misfits, and this time, the shark might be voiced by Diedrich Bader.

When Bride looks at him, the robot says, "GI Robot, reporting for service, ma'am," highlighting his readiness for a new task.
