The Wheel of Time recently concluded its third season on Prime Video with its ultimate episode, "He Who Comes With The Dawn." Although The Wheel of Time hasn't yet been renewed for a potential fourth season, several burning questions have been left unanswered by the Prime Video show's season three finale.

From the question of Rand's purported insanity to the ultimate fate of Perrin, these are the questions arising from a narrative that didn't provide complete closure. Here we take a look at five such plot points that were left unresolved by The Wheel of Time season three.

What are the 5 unresolved plot points from The Wheel of Time season 3?

Keep reading to learn more.

1) What happens to Rand?

The finale of the third season saw Rand in a precarious position as he found it difficult to give away the One Power after Egwene asked him to. There's also the looming predestined premise that, as a male channel, Rand is supposed to be driven to insanity at some later point in his life. While this prediction might take some time to bear fruit, Rand's reluctance and hesitation aren't a positive sign after all. He even had a breakdown after the young Aiel girl Alsera showed up.

2) What happens to Perrin?

Perrin was last seen in the penultimate episode of the third season and incurred the wrath of the Whitecloaks throughout the latest iteration of The Wheel of Time. He handed himself over to Dain to be brought to justice for one of his past crimes and was missing from the finale episode. The relevant plot point of Perrin's ultimate fate thus remained unresolved, as it's still not clear whether the Whitecloaks will eventually harm him.

3) What about Nynaeve's massive powers?

Nynaneve was claimed to be the most powerful channeler by the Aes Sedai. Regardless, she barely wields her powers since she has a block that somehow impedes her from channeling at her own discretion. Therefore, she isn't fully reconciled with the One Power. Her act of parting the water proved her mettle. However, it remains to be seen if her impressive set of powers is showcased better in the next season, if there's one.

4) What is Elaida's true identity?

Elaida was presented as some sort of an antagonist throughout the latest season, leading many to believe that she was a Darkfriend after all. This theory was further reinforced as she benefited from the mayhem at the White Tower and manipulated her way wherever possible. The question remains about her true identity, making us ponder whether she's one among the Black Ajah or not.

5) Will Lanfear and Moiraine ever face each other again?

Both Lanfear and Moiraine are immensely powerful women who join forces with Rand. But things take a turn when both of them are locked against each other in battle by the finale. With both escaping the matchup with albeit severe wounds, only the next season can provide a fitting end to their contest.
