5 best Arya Stark moments we witnessed in Game Of Thrones

(1) Threatening the Hound

Arya’s relationship with the Hound (Sandor Clegane) was complicated. At first, she hated him because he killed her friend, Mycah, for Joffrey. But over time, she saw his more human side as they traveled together.

One day, the Hound made a cruel comment about her father, Ned Stark’s death. Arya calmly looked at him and said: “Someday, I’m going to put a sword through your eye and out the back of your skull.” Her words sent a chill down the viewers' spines, given that the Hound himself is one of the most formidable characters in Game Of Thrones.

(2) Taking Harrenhal back

Arya even showed her cleverness when she was at Harrenhal, the castle that was controlled by the Lannisters. With the help of Jaqen H’ghar, an assassin, she made a plan to escape. Jaqen had promised Arya three kills, but Arya was smart enough to use the situation to her advantage.

She made him help the Northern army take back the castle before leaving. In the books, Arya was even more clever, refusing to remove Jaqen’s name until he agreed to do more for her. Thanks to her quick thinking, the North regained Harrenhal.

(3) Killing Ser Meryn Trant

Ser Meryn Trant was a cruel man who had hurt many people, including Sansa. So, Arya made sure he paid for his actions. In order to take revenge and teach him a lesson, Arya disguised herself like other girls. Once Ser Meryn thought she was just another helpless girl, Arya revealed her true identity.

She then brutally attacked him, stabbing his eyes out, cutting him, and finally slitting his throat. This moment showed Arya was no longer the scared girl she once was, she was now a skilled assassin with revenge and determination in her eyes.

(4) Hitting Joffrey with a stick

Joffrey Baratheon was one of the most hated characters and all GOT fans know why, and Arya was one of the first to stand up to him.

Arya didn’t back down when Joffrey bullied her friend. She smacked him with a stick, showing she wasn’t afraid of anyone, not even a prince.

One day, when Joffrey was bullying Arya’s friend, Mycah, Arya grabbed a stick and hit Joffrey hard on the back. He screamed in pain, humiliated in front of everyone. Even though Sansa tried to stop her, Arya wasn’t afraid to stand up for her friend.

(5) Revenge at the red wedding

One of Arya’s most satisfying moments was when she took revenge on the Freys for killing her family at the Red Wedding. The Freys had betrayed and slaughtered her mother, brother, and many others.

Arya disguised herself as a servant and poisoned every male Frey at the feast. Later on, she revealed her true identity to Walder Frey who was the mastermind behind the massacre, and she slit his throat. Her chilling words before the kill were:

"The last thing you’ll ever see is a Stark smiling down at you as you die."

Arya Stark’s journey in Game of Thrones showed self-growth and determination. From a young girl who wanted to learn sword fighting to a deadly assassin, Arya faced many challenges, but she never backed down. Whether she was taking down enemies or delivering unforgettable lines, Arya was always a fan favorite.
