Prime Video's latest show, Wear Whatever the F You Want, premiered on April 29, 2025. The fashion reality show features Stacy London and Clinton Kelly. Fans might know the duo from 2003's What Not to Wear.
Stacy and Clinton are back with the new show that features exciting makeovers. They are focused on celebrating individual styling while not following the "societal norms" regarding fashion.
In their April 29, 2025, interview with WWD, the duo talked about various things, including what fashion meant in 2003 during their previous show, What Not to Wear. Recalling the time when nobody knew "anything" and they were the experts, Stacy London shared:
"2003 was totally different. Nobody knew anything about fashion. We were experts. There were rules. It was a lesson in geometry and figuring out how to complement your body or look taller, look thinner. Everybody has an opinion today. Ours is no more valid than anybody else’s, because it’s a different time."
Wear Whatever the F You Want's Stacy London and Clinton Kelly open up about the change in fashion over the years
Stacy London and Clinton Kelly are renowned names. Fans might remember them from TLC's What Not to Wear, which aired from 2003 to 2013. They are back with their latest show, Wear Whatever the F You Want.
Recalling the fashion industry and how there were no influencers back then, Stacy said 2003 was "totally different." There were "rules," and they were the "experts."
"Social media has made it much more democratized. You can watch all the shows at the same time that Anna Wintour (Vogue’s editor-in-chief) is in the front row. And that gives you a certain amount of power over not necessarily responding to trends, but knowing what it is that you like and becoming more confident with that," Stacy added.
Clinton Kelly shared more about their latest show, Wear Whatever the F You Want, and how it focuses on individual transformations. With that, he said that the show also features the "evolution" of the two since their previous show ended.
"We're gayer and grayer and just kinder and gentler," added Clinton.
Working on the show together, again, Kelly mentioned how they have enjoyed the "collaborative process." He also discussed how their personalities changed after 22 years. However, he said that they are the "same people," but they have had 22 years of "life experience."
"So, do we agree on absolutely everything? No, but when we disagree now, I think we have enough respect for each other and don't take it personally. That's one of the benefits of getting older. You just stop taking s*** personally," Clinton Kelly added.
Adding more to that, Stacy recalled how Clinton often mentions that the kind of chemistry the two have is not "just on screen." It is about how they think about styling and how they approach it.
