The reality dating show Love Island has been criticized for heavy editing and interference from producers. The cast claims some scenes were actually repeats, and at one point or another, contestants were even told what to speak about to further the drama. Elimination is also sometimes decided by the producers rather than by organic decisions made by the cast.
