Although purporting to be a bona fide contest of modeling, America’s Next Top Model (ANTM) faced accusations of faking most of the tensions and even fashion challenges. Multiple contestants have revealed that many "spontaneous" instances, such as fights and breakdowns, were actually provoked or even written into the show in certain instances as part of the producers' efforts to increase dramatic effect.
