The show suggests that his photographic memory and intelligence made him a valuable asset, but this doesn’t excuse the blatant fraud. Realistically, Harvey could have mentored Mike to attend law school and earn his degree. The premise, while absurd, adds tension and makes the story undeniably engaging.
