With several character fatalities and significant events, the most recent episode, 1923 Season 2, Episode 6, "The Mountain Teeth of Monsters," took a sharp turn and prepared the audience for a thrilling season finale. As Alex's trip took a deadly turn, Spencer's return to Montana loomed, and Teonna's fight for survival reached a critical point, the episode escalated the tension.

More about 1923 Season 2 Episode 6

1923 Season 2 premiered on Paramount+ on February 23, 2025. The Duttons faced new problems. This included a severe winter and threats to their property. Spencer Dutton set out on a risky quest to help his family. The season stars Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren. The second season consisted of seven episodes that continued the Dutton family's narrative in the early 1900s and were filmed in Texas.

In anticipation of its penultimate episode, season 2 of 1923 has been a slow burn. This mainly includes tensions steadily rising and conflicts simmering on several fronts. Episode 5 raised the stakes, whereas previous episodes concentrated on the dangers facing the Yellowstone ranch and Spencer's perilous journey home.

Teonna Rainwater was still at large, with adversaries closing in, Banner Creighton and Donald Whitfield's relationship grew more lethal, and Spencer had finally boarded a train to Montana.

The much anticipated confrontation started in episode 6. It was made clear in the episode that Spencer's trip back to Montana would not be easy. The Duttons gathered in expectation as Sheriff McDowell hurried to inform Jacob Dutton of Spencer's arrival. But at the train station, Banner Creighton's men were already preparing an ambush.

Jack Dutton made the disastrous choice to ride alone, but Creighton's men caught him and killed him. In the end, this defeat would undoubtedly spark a furious response on 1923 Season 2.

Alexandra's voyage, meanwhile, took a sad turn. She tried to drive through hazardous conditions with her friends Paul and Hillary, but the journey ended tragically. Their car became stuck in a terrible snowstorm, and although Alex survived by staying warm by the engine, Hillary and Paul perished from the cold. The approaching conclusion will be much more suspenseful because Alex is now alone and faces an uncertain future in the cold wilderness.
