Television is not new to controversies. From on-set scandals to off-screen outrage, the most popular shows can find themselves echoed at the center of one firestorm or another. Sometimes, the firestorm can reach massive proportions and, in the aftermath, leave even the shows themselves facing the ultimate punishment: cancellation.
