4) Sex and the City– 8 wins
In the late 1990s and early 2000s, Sex and the City defined a new kind of television programming. This television drama explored love, friendship, and modern womanhood with a remarkably brazen touch; four women tackling life in New York City would constitute an almost unthinkable combination of drama and iconic fashion. With Sarah Jessica Parker as columnist Carrie Bradshaw, it nabbed eight Golden Globe Awards, including Best Television Series - Musical or Comedy. Its raw storytelling and social commentary linger on, to give this series its rightful place as one of television's classics.
