TLC released 1000-lb Sisters Season 7 Episode 3 on April 29, 2025. The latest episode featured Amy and Tammy spending time with their sisters. Tammy tells her sisters about dating a woman, which they support.
The episode also featured them going to the zoo, where Amy gets bitten by a camel and calls emergency services. After Amy gets stitches at the ER, she gets arrested for possessing marijuana in her car.

1000-lb Sisters Season 7 Episode 3 Recap: While Tammy reveals about dating a woman, Amy gets bitten by a camel, resulting in her arrest
The 1000-lb Sisters Season 7 Episode 3, titled Chewy CA(Ra)Mel, featured Amy and Tammy spending time with their family. They discussed their upcoming surgeries and how they could not spend more time together. Tammy mentioned getting a lift and more done:
"I have an appointment with Dr. Smith coming up. I'm feeling kinda nervous," confessed Tammy.
Later during their conversation with their sisters, Tammy revealed about dating a woman. She shared how Amy already knew about it. She stated that after her husband's passing, she didn't want to be with another man. Tammy also shared how her family would not like the fact that she was dating a woman.
After learning about Tammy dating a woman, her older sister, Amanda, confessed to the cameras:
"You know, I'm really not sure why Tammy feels like we would have a problem with her dating a female. I have a son that's gay. I don't care, as long as she treats you right. So for her to pop off and say, you know, I know y'all probably don't agree on me dating a woman...I mean, I was completely taken aback by that, to be honest. It really surprised me."
Amanda told Tammy she didn't care who she ended up with. She was concerned about her partner "treating" her right. She advised Tammy not to settle until she gets what she has been looking for. Tammy confessed that she was "relieved" that her sisters supported her decision to date a woman.
1000-lb Sisters Season 7 Episode 3: Amy gets bitten by a camel, followed by her arrest
Further on 1000-lb Sisters Season 7 Episode 3, Amy and Tammy went to the zoo in Alamo, Tennessee, with some family members, including kids. While there, they fed the animals and enjoyed their time together.
"This zoo is a family safe zoo. You just drive through, you don't get out of your cars or anything like that. You keep the kids buckled in. We bought 12 buckets of food and we're just driving through the zoo. Like the boys are having fun. There's food all over the truck and it's just a perfect day," shared Amy.
However, soon, the camel bit Amy through the car window. After calling the emergency services, Amy called her sister, Amanda, to get the kids. Soon, Amanda was on her way to get the kids when she mentioned that despite the situation, she had a "smile" on her face.
"This is a very serious situation, and although I have a small face, I can't help but just laugh. At the current situation that I'm in, I'm currently jet setting down the interstate to go get my baby nephews because Amy's hidden in a hospital," confessed Amanda.
Further in the 1000-lb Sisters Season 7 Episode 3, Amy shared how the ambulance came and what happened after that. She mentioned how, while calling an ambulance, police also arrive with the emergency services. After the police arrived, they searched their car and found "a little bit of marijuana."
"Normally when you call the ambulance, policemen come with them. So nobody called the cops, they just arrived with the ambulance. But when the cops searched the car, they found a little bag of marijuana," shared Amy.
She was in the ER for the stitches on the camel bite. Soon, the police arrived and read her her rights. She stated that the "beautiful" day turned into her being in jail. The episode also featured Amy getting arrested and her mugshot, wearing the orange uniform.
