LOTR: Rings of Power premiered in September 2022 and follows the events of the Second Age of Middle-earth, from the creation of the Rings of Power to the rise of Sauron.
The series follows Galadriel ( Morfydd Clark) as she returns to Middle-earth to destroy Sauron once and for all. She is the commander of the Northern armies and one of the most formidable warriors. In the show, we see Galadriel’s swordsmanship, combat skills, and determination to defeat evil from the Middle-earth. There are many moments in the show where Galadriel overpowers her enemies with her skills and strength.

10) Galadriel survives a sea monster
When she meets Halbrand for the first time in the Sundering Sea, she and the rest of the mariners are attacked by a sea monster. In this scene, we can see Galadriel’s physical strength as she swims through the ocean without any difficulty.
It also shows us how brave Galadriel is, as not a tinge of fear can be seen on her face.
9) She trains the Numenoreons
In Season 2 of Rings of Power, Galadriel and Halbrand reach Numenor. While staying there, she shows the Numenorion soldiers her sword skills. She tells them about various types of attacks and defenses related to swordsmanship.
She also challenges them to fight with her and try to defeat her, which all of them fail to do.
8) She fights the Numenor royal guards
In season 2 of Rings of Power, Halbrand gets locked up after a bar fight, and Galadriel also joins him after she speaks out against the queen of Numenor.
Later, when the Royal guards come to take her to a ship bound to go to Middle-earth, she fights them and defeats them, showing us her unique combat skills that can even take the Royal guards out.
7) She fights the Barrow-wights
As Galadriel, Elrond, and their team begin their journey to go to Eregion and save Celebrimbor, the creator of the Rings of Power and king of Eregion, they face many challenges.
One of them is the Barrow-wights of the Barrow-downs. Galadriel is initially trapped by the undead. But with a little help from Elrond, she is able to fend off the Barrowwights and save everyone.
6) She confronts Halbrand
It takes time for Galadriel to realize that Halrand is actually Sauron. But as she finds out, she confronts her new friend about deceiving her. Halbrand tries his best to convince her to join him, become his queen, and rule the Middle-earth with him.
Galadriel fiercely refuses him and takes a stand against him. Her only goal of returning to Middle-earth was to destroy Sauron, and by rejecting Halbrand, she stood true to her goal.
5) She saves the southlanders from Adar and his army
As Adar and his army of Orcs attack the southland, Galadriel, Numenorions, and Halbrand reach the Southlands to help the people and defeat Adar and his Orcs.
In this scene from Season 2 of Rings of Power, we see Galadriel, the warrior, in action on the battlefield. She efficiently kills the Orcs and even captures Adar with Halbrand’s help.
4) Defeats a snow troll
In the premiere episode of Rings of Power, Galadriel shows her formidable skills and what makes her a great warrior by defeating a snow troll alone.
As a snow troll attacks Galadriel and her team in Forodwaith’s abandoned fortress, Galadriel alone fights and kills the troll with her sword.
3) Galadriel helps survivors escape Eregion
Escaping Adar’s camp, which was taken by the Orcs and Adar, Galadriel helps survivors flee Eregion. She helps them get out through the breached wall of Eregion while she wards off the Orcs.
However, she is later discovered by a group of Orcs and surrenders herself to them to save the survivors who were escaping Eregion.
2) Fights off Adar’s army of Orcs
After escaping from the Barrow-wights, Galadriel and Elrond see a group of Orcs camped outside Eregion. Galadriel asks Elrond and others to return to Lindon and inform Gil-galad of Adar’s dangerous plan of destroying Eregion. She even gives her Ring to Elrond to take it back to Lindon.
As they return to Lindon, Galadriel distracts the Orcs by fighting them so that they can escape easily without being seen by the Orcs.
1) Galadriel fights Sauron
In the finale episode of season 2 of Rings of Power, Galadriel and Sauron face off against each other in an epic showdown. However, Sauron now has Adar’s sword and the Morgoth crown to use against Galadriel.
Galadriel doesn’t let Sauron overpower her by using tricks like transforming himself into Halbrand and throwing her off guard. He then stabs her with Morgoth’s crown and takes the nine rings for men. He also orders her to give him her ring. But she does not give her ring and leaps off the cliff to ensure that Sauron doesn’t get all the rings.
