The comedy show, Two and a Half Men, starring Charlie Sheen, Jon Cryer, and Angus T. Jones was a superhit sitcom when it premiered in September 2003.

Created by Chuck Lorre and Lee Aronsohn, Two and a Half Men follows Charlie Sheen’s Charlie Harper whose lifestyle changes when his brother Alan (Jon Cryer) and his son Jake ( Angus T. Jones) come to live in his Malibu house after Alan’s divorce.

Over the 12-season run of the popular show, many celebrities, including family members of the stars, appeared in cameo roles. Celebrities such as Sean Penn, Megan Fox, Brad Paisley, and many others have appeared in the comedy show and made the show more funnier.

Enrique Iglesias appeared in Episode 23 of Season 4 of Two and a Half Men as Fernando, a handyman.

Alan calls Fernando to repair Charlie’s deck railing. Fernando is seen as a hardworking, honest, and attractive handyman who leads all the women in Charlie’s life to make excuses to meet him and try to drive out their rivals.

Charlie gets jealous of him as he gets all the attention from the ladies and wants to fire him from his job. However, Alan tries to change his mind by reminding him that Fernando is just a young version of himself.

Denise Richards appears in two episodes of Two and a Half Men as Lisa, Charlie Harper’s ex-girlfriend.

In Season 1 Episode 10, Titled Merry Thanksgiving, Lisa informs Charlie that she is getting married. Charlie invites her to his house and pretends to become a responsible adult and a family man, to get back with her. However, Lisa finds out it was all just an act and tells him she might date him if she ever gets divorced.

Lisa again appears in Season 2 Episode 9, titled Yes, Monsignor. In the episode, Charlie tries to show her he can care for her and her daughter (played by their real-life daughter, Sami Sheen) but fails to convince her again.

Charlie Sheen’s real-life brother, Emilio Estevez appeared for a cameo role in Season 6 Episode 11, titled The Devil’s Lube as Andy in Two and a Half Men.

Andy is one of Charlie’s old friends who dies of a heart attack while talking to him. This triggers Charlie as he starts to question his own lifestyle. Except for Alan, he tells everyone that he loves them. He even takes every medical test available to be sure of his healthcare.


7) Martin Sheen

Other than Sheen’s then-wife Denise Richards and brother Emilio Estevez, his father Martin Sheen also appeared in the show in Season 3 Episode 7, titled Sleep Tight, Puddin’ Pop as Harvey in Two and a Half Men.

In the episode drunk Charlie sleeps with his neighbor Rose, played by Melanie Lynskey. He is then visited by Rose’s father, Harvey, who confronts him about dating his daughter for two years and asks his intentions with her. However, Charlie is spared when his mother shows up and Harvey and Evelyn connect instantly with each other and he leaves with her.


6) Teri Hatcher

Popular actress Teri Hatcher appeared in Season 1 Episode 19 of Two and a Half Men, titled I Remember the Courtroom, I Just Don’t Remember You.

She played the character of Liz, Judith’s sister. Judith and Liz always had a rivalry with each other which leaves Alan dreading the upcoming trouble that might ensue in Jake’s birthday party. Other than that, Liz also hits Alan, making Judith angry.


5) Miley Cyrus

The Hannah Montana star appeared in two episodes of Two and a Half Men Season 10. Miley Cyrus is first introduced as Missi, daughter of Walden’s friend in Episode 4, titled You do know what the Lollypop is for.

In the episode she becomes Jake’s girlfriend who gives her all his attention rather than talking to his father who was waiting for him to come for his weekend from the army base.

Her second appearance is in Episode 7, titled Avoid the Chinese Mustard, where Missi rejects Jake’s feelings as she is not looking for a relationship with him.


4) Mila Kunis

Ashton Kutcher’s wife and famous actress, Mila Kunis appeared in Season 11 Episode 19 of Two and a Half Men.

In the episode, titled, Lan Mao Shi Zai Wuding Shang, Walden tries to propose to Kate (Brooke D’Orsay) but is conflicted when he falls for a random stranger who comes to the beach house to refill her canteen.

Kunis plays Vivian, an adventurous tourist in the cameo role.


3) Eddie Van Halen

One of the most surprising cameos in Two and a Half Men was of legendary rock guitarist Eddie Van Halen.

He appeared as himself in the first episode of season 7, titled 818-jklpuzo. Van Halen appears at the end of the episode as we see him getting out of the bathroom of Bad Burritos recording studios.

Charlie asks him if he was in the bathroom with his guitar, to which Halen replies that inspiration can strike at any moment and plays a riff. The solo he plays in the episode later became a part of his song As Is.


2) Steven Tyler

The lead singer of Aerosmith, Steven Tyler appeared as himself in season 4 Episode 14 of Two and a Half Men.

In the episode titled, Who's Vod Kanockers, Tyler irritates Charlie and Alan as a noisy musician neighbor with who Charlie even picks up a fight.

Other than his cameo in the episode, Tyler is referenced in several different episodes as living near Charlie’s Malibu House.

One of the most iconic and surprising cameos was of American Horror Story actress, Kathy Bates, who appeared as the ghost of Charlie Harper in Episode 22 of Season 9 of Two and a Half Men.

In the episode titled Why We Gave up Women, Bates appears as the ghost of Charlie who has returned from Hell as a middle-aged woman and visits Alan in the hospital after he has a heart attack.

In the episode, Alan receives advice from his brother from hell that he has to change himself and stop depending on others in his life.
