Stranger Things has been one of the most-watched shows on Netflix in recent times. Eleven is the heart and soul of Stranger Things. She uses her powers to help her friends and save the world. Throughout the series she has demonstrated her powers whenever needed and every time she has left the viewers appreciating her.

From her days in the laboratory to her days in Hawkins where she formed new bonds with people she has been a compelling character. However, her powers are not the only compelling thing about her character. She is fierce and has the willingness to always stand by the people she is close with. 1) Eleven saves Mike, Dustin, and Lucas from the Demogorgon

In season 1 of Stranger Things when the Demogorgon attacked Mike, Dustin, and Lucas while Eleven was injured in school, it is one of the best moments where we see Eleven’s strength. In the last episode of this season, as the Demogorgon approaches Mike, Dustin, and Lucas, Lucas tries his best to hit the Demogorgon.

The Demogorgon is not affected by it and keeps on charging towards them. Then Eleven uses her power to shove the Demogorgon into the wall. It showcases her willingness to sacrifice for the people close to her. The scene is emotionally charged as we see her choosing to save her friends even when she is exhausted. Even in her weakened state she channeled her power and used her strength to destroy the Demogorgon saving her friends’ lives.

2) Protecting themselves from Dr Martin Brenner in Stranger Things Season 1

In the first season of Stranger Things when we see Dr. Martin Brenner come to take Elleven away from Mike’s house, her power leaves the viewers speechless. Mike, Dustin, and Lucas take Eleven and use their bicycles to run away. However, Dr. Martin sees them and follows.

So when one of the vans Dr. Martin is about to crash with them Eleven uses her power to flip the car and save themselves. This is one of the very first instances where her power is seen. Eleven is desperate to not get captured by Dr. Martin and go through the torture that she was put under in the lab. This scene has remained with the viewers, especially for its visual storytelling and narrative significance.

3) Finding Will

In season 1 of Stranger Things when Elle uses her power to locate Will in Upside Down it showcases the extent of her strengths. Will is stuck in Upside Down and is unable to return to Hawkins. Eleven finds him hiding inside the tent in the jungle in the Upside Down world. She finds that Will is scared and she reassures him that his mother, Joyce is coming to save him.

This scene is emotionally charged as we see Joyce clinging to any hope she gets of finding her son. Eleven’s determination to help Joyce even when it physically affects her to use such strong power is evident. Even though she is just a child she tries her best to help whenever she can. 4) Saving Mike from bullies

Yet another memorable scene in Stranger Things. This moment is season one of Stranger Things is one of the early moments when we see Eleven strength. When Mike and Dustin were being bullied by two boys Eleven saved them. Mike was being forced to jump off the cliff by the bullies. As he jumped off the cliff Mike started to float instead of falling down.

Everyone was shocked until they saw Eleven. Eleven used her power to hover Mike and bring him back to safety. She then proceeds to protect Mike and Dustin from the bullies and even breaks one of their arms using her powers. This scene plays a significant role in Stranger Things as it acts as a foreshadowing of Eleven’s bonding with the boys and acts as a character development.

5) Closing the gate of the Upside Down

In season 2 of Stranger Things when Eleven returns to Hawkins after finding the truth about her mother she is determined to close the gate between the Upside Down and Hawkins. So in the climax episode of season 2 Eleven uses all her might to close the massive gate that threatens to engulf Hawkins. However, this gate is not a mere object it is a rift in reality itself. It takes immense power for Eleven to finally be able to close it.

This scene is emotionally charged as on one side Eleven closes the gate and on the other side, Mike and his group try to help her by creating a distraction and weakening the Mindflayer. The visual depiction of this scene showcases the strength Eleven has. She is not a lab experiment but a weapon that wields power to protect others. She becomes a protector of Hawkins and seals the gate shut.

6) Fighting against One in Season 4

Eleven’s confrontation with One in season 4 is one of the best moments. We see the extent of Eleven’s powers in this scene which has left the viewers astonished. The confrontation is a pivotal moment in Stranger Things as we are able to understand the true identity of Vecna and how he was banished to the Upside Down world.

This added a new layer of complexity to the show. Initially, we see One taking Eleven down and Eleven struggling to fight back against One. However, Eleven finally gets up and pushes back against One’s power. In this intense fight scene, both One and Eleven’s raw power emerges.

Both of them unleash the full extent of their power and finally, Eleven opens the gate of the Upside Down. As Eleven relieved a key memory of her past she was able to regain her powers. She confronted the trauma that blocked her and prevented her from achieving her full potential.

7) El’s fight with Mind Flayer in season 3 in Hopper’s cabin

In season 3 when the Mind Flayer attacks Eleven and her friends in Hopper’s cabin Eleven fights back with all her might. The attack was sudden and demonstrated its relentless pursuit of getting Eleven. Eleven uses her power to cut the arms of the Mindflayer with which it was attacking them. However, the Mindflayer suddenly attacked Elleven’s foot and tried to drag her towards its mouth. Will, Mike, and Max tried with all their might to prevent the MindFlayer from taking Eleven away. Eventually, Lucas cuts Eleven free from the Mindflayer.

The scene is filled with tension. Eleven stands up and tears the Mindflayer into two halves. This is a crucial turning point in Stranger Things. It showcases the Mindflayer’s growing power and its impact on Eleven. The group is forced to confront their fears and fight against the looming threat that the Upside Down poses.

8) Eleven vs Vecna

In season 4 when Vecna finally gets to attack Max, Eleven comes to save the day. Eleven after regaining her power comes to protect Max from Vecna. The fight started with Vecna having the upper hand but attacking Eleven constantly. Vecna captures Eleven and ties her up. He wants Eleven to watch while he makes Max his next victim. He almost kills Max when Eleven starts to fight back.

Eleven after hearing Mike’s voice and his confession regains her strength and starts to fight Vecna. Eleven refuses to give up. The fight between Eleven and Vecna in the last season is one of the most intriguing scenes in the whole Stranger Things series. Stranger Things is a testament to Eleven’s power of friendship, love, and hope. This is one of the best scenes where Eleven’s power has left the viewers speechless.

9) Bringing down the helicopter

In season 4 when Eleven was taken away by Dr Martin Brenner, she was attacked by the military. As the military wrongly believes that Eleven is the one behind the murders of Hawkins they want to neutralize the threat and kill Eleven. However, when Eleven was attacked by the helicopter things took a different turn. Although first she was shocked by the death of Dr Martin Brenner, she quickly raised herself and faced the soldiers. Mike, Argyle, Will, and Jonathan were trying to save Eleven.

So when the shooter on the helicopter saw Argyle’s van heading towards their direction it was enough for Eleven to focus on the helicopter to bring it down. She concentrates her power on the helicopter and destroys the helicopter by crashing it. This is a pivotal moment in the show as we see that Eleven has regained her power. The scene is visually stunning and amplifies the impact of Eleven’s actions even more.

10) Bursting the glass of the girl in the mall

In season 3 after Eleven’s fight with Mike, Eleven and Max visit the mall. There they start to try on clothes at different stores and have fun. While trying on clothes at one shop a group of girls were looking at them and judging them. El and Max then sneak up behind a pillar and while the girls are talking in a distance El uses her power to burst the glass the girl was holding. The girl’s drink spills all over her and makes a mess. This embarrassed the girl and El and Max started to laugh. This is one of the best scenes where Eleven uses her power. Although it was not a time when they were facing some serious issues or fighting against the demogorgons, this scene is lighthearted and the viewers have enjoyed it.
