1)Oscar Finlay snaps at Mr Kliner

In season 1, episode 3, we see Reacher and Finlay visit Mr. Kliner’s office to investigate. Though Reacher gets suspicious of the amount of animal feed, Finlay assures him. Mr. Kliner refuses to know about the killings and tells them that he has heard only rumours. However, Finlay tells Mr. Kliner that Tanner Spivey has disappeared and has called his company multiple times.
He also tells him that Pete Jobling, a former truck driver of Kliner Industries, was also deceased. He asked him about the legal fee Mr. Kliner paid for him even though he claimed him to be a hire from a different company. However, instead of properly answering Finlay’s questions, he tells him that he feels insulted because of their suspicion.
Mr. Kliner also insults Finlay, which intigates him to stand up for himself. Finlay’s comeback after Mr. Kinley’s insult is one of the best moments of him from Reacher, according to the viewers.
2)Questioning Reacher

In season 1, episode 1, when Reacher is arrested right after he visits Margrave, he is taken to the police station. At the station, he is processed by Roscoe. However, when Chief Morrison is threatening, Reacher Finlay arrives and asks him how he is going to do that. He tells them to take Reacher to the conference room.
He introduces himself to Reacher and tells him that he will be asking him some questions. Finlay tells him about the body that was found by the highway, which was covered with flattened cardboard boxes. He also tells him about the details of the gunshot. He asks him whether Reacher knew about the man.
This was one of the very first moments we see Oscar Finlay. Despite Reacher’s overwhelming physique, he was not fazed by him and interrogated him. This was one of the best monets of Oscar Finlay, according to the viewers.
3)Finlay breaks through a wall

In season 1, episode 7, when Reacher calls Finlay to tell him to meet at Pete Jobling’s house to solve the case, Finlay sees from his window that three hitters are heading toward the motel office. He understood that they were there to find out which room he was in and to kill him.

4)Finlay’s talk with Daniel Boyd

In season 2, episode 4, when we see Finlay again, he arrests Daniel Boyd and takes him for questioning. Boyd initially underestimates Finlay and asks him whether he knows who he is. Boyd assures him that he was aware of him. He also tells him that he also knows that the woman in his car was not his wife. He tells him about his distaste for people who don’t appreciate the sanctity of marriage. This is one of Finlay’s best dialogues from the series, according to the viewers. He tells Boyd that some of the men from the FBI are going to come to talk to him.
5)Finlay tells Reacher about his wife

In season 1, episode 6, when Reacher and Oscar were driving through the jungle to keep an eye on the Kliner factory. Reacher talks about Neagl,y which makes Finlay ask about her. He also tells him about the special unit that he put together. When Finlay tells Reacher about his habit of falling out of touch with his friends and that it is not healthy, Reacher tells him to move on and lose the ring that Finlay holds so close to his heart.
Then, he slowly opens up about his wife. He tells him that his wife is dead, which is the reason he could not stop wearing the ring. He also tells him why he left Boston. This was an emotional moment that resonated with the viewers. As we see Finlay, who is usually grumpy, open up his feelings to Reacher, it depicts his vulnerable side.
6)Finlay’s talk with Stevenson

In season 1, episode 1, when Paul Hubble confessed that he murdered the victim that was found recently, Finlay took him to the police station. However, when Reacher gave him the exact details about him, he understood that Reacher knew about something and called Stevenson to talk in his office. He tells Stevenson about Reacher’s accusations.
Stevenson answers his question, telling him about the party that happened last night. Right after Stevenson answered, Reacher started to question him, but Finlay interrupted him and told him not to answer Reacher’s questions as he was not his boss. This was one of the most entertaining moments of Reacher as we see Finlay understand how quick Reacher is at gathering information. This action shows his sharp mind and ability to recognise when to step in.
7)Listening to music

In season 1, episode 6, when Reacher and Finlay are following the truck, Reacher starts to play music in his car. Finlay tells Reacher to drive back as he was getting too close, but Reacher refuses. Reacher then tells him about the number of times he has followed someone, but Finlay mocks him. This makes Finlay irritated about the Blues song that Reacher was playing in his car.
He starts to search for a different song to play and finds a CD. He played a Kansas song and said that it was the best opening to a rock song. He gets completely immersed in the music and pretends to drum with the beat, which completely surprises Reahcer. This is one of the best moments of Finlay in the series as we see him comfortable and show a completely different side of him, which resonates with the viewers.
8)Giving orders to Reacher

In season 1, episode 3, Finlay finds out that Reacher’s guess was right. They understand that Hubble was a currency manager for Axis Financial’s Atlanta Branch, which made him a part of the case. When Roscoe says that she will go check the place he worked at, Finlay stops her by telling her that they will be unsuccessful.
He also says that he will be the one to track them down after hours. He then tells her to be back in uniform and pretend to look at the ex-cons who killed the Morrisons. He adds that he will be visiting the jailguard named Spivey. On hearing this, Reacher says that he will also join him.
However, Finlay mocks him, reminding him about his activity the last time and telling him to see Zacarias Perez LLP to find out about Jobling’s arrest. This is undoubtedly one of the best moments of Finlay as we see him actively involving Reacher and putting his trust in him.
9)Swerving KJ’s punch

In season 1, episode 6, we see Finlay arriving at the station to find Teale. Teale tells him that everything that they were working on, including Morrison, should be put on hold until they get the situation at hand under control. When he asks Teale whether the county forensics were there or not, KJ arrives and tries to punch Finlay.
However, Finlay easily swerves his punch and catches him. KJ keeps on verbally abusing him because Finlay accused his father, but Finlay tells him that he will forgive his words considering the current circumstance that he is in. This was one of best moments of Finlay, according to the viewers. Evading his punch showed his quick thinking and physical prowess, which resonated with the viewers.
10)Appreciating Reacher

In season 1, episode 8, when Reacher, Finlay, and Hubble go to save the girls, they are preparing for the attack. Finlay tells Reacher about their time fighting together and adds that his soldiers must have enjoyed working with Reacher, indicating that he has enjoyed working with him.
Reacher understood Finlay and told him that he appreciated working with him, too. He then jokes about Finlay’s physique to make the situation light-hearted. Reacher’s praise about his physique makes him happy. This is one of Finlay's best moments, according to the viewers.
