10 Best moments from All of us are dead

All of Us Are Dead came out in June 2022 on Netflix and quickly entered the top 10 drama list of the streaming giant. The show follows a group of high school students who try to survive a zombie outbreak in their small town of Hyosan, South Korea.

The show provided many unforgettable moments, from scary moments of zombie attacks and sacrifices for saving their friends and family to showing the courage and resilience of the teens for survival.

Here is a list of the 10 best moments from All of Us Are Dead.

1) Lee Byeong-chan’s sacrifice

Lee Byeong-chan ( Kim Byung-chul) was the science teacher at Hyosan High School and also the one who created the Jonas Virus. After his truth comes out, he is arrested by the police. However, the police station is also overrun by zombies.

As he sees the police, including Detective Song Jae-ik ( Lee Kyu-hyung), being attacked he is conflicted if he should try to help or let them due to his disdain for law enforcement.

However, he later gives in and saves Jae-ik from getting bitten as he gets bitten instead and gets infected with the virus that he created. Furthermore, he also tells Jae-ik that his laptop in the school contains the solution for this outbreak and sacrifices himself.

2) Nam-ra confronts Na-yeon

After Han Gyeong-su gets infected by the zombie blood on Lee Na-yeon’s (Lee Yoo-mi) handkerchief, Cheong-san (Yoon Chan-young) tricks zombie Gyeong-su into jumping out of the window.

As his friends grieve him, Choi Nam-ra (Cho Yi-hyun) confronts Na-yeon about killing Gyeong-su. She proves in front of everyone that Na-yeon murdered Gyeong-su which prompts Na-yeon to leave.

3) Oh Joon-young sacrificed himself for his friends

As the group gets trapped in the gymnasium with zombies attacking them from every side, Oh Joon-young (Ahn Seung-geun) gets bitten by a zombie.

In a heartbreaking scene, he sacrifices himself so that his friends get enough time to get out of the gym.

4) Cheong-san and Gwi-nam fight in the library

Cheong-san records a video on his phone of Gwi-nam (Yoo In-soo) killing their principal. Gwi-nam chases after him to take the phone and they both end up trapped in the library.

In what appears to be a showdown, Cheong-san and Gwi-nam fight each other and also try to escape from the zombies in the library. At last, Cheong-san pushes Gwi-nam down the bookshelf they were fighting on and he gets surrounded by zombies.

5) Nam-ra hatches a plan to reach the rooftop

Nam-ra maps out a plan for the group to reach the rooftop and also save Cheong-san who is trapped in the library.

The group uses the school PA system, to lure the zombies to the other side of the school so that they have a safe passage to save Cheong-san and reach the rooftop.

6) The group finally reaches the rooftop

After facing many challenges and losses, the group finally reaches the rooftop. As they wait to be rescued, the group sits around the fire and shares their thoughts. Cheong-san then, finally confesses his feelings about Nam On-jo (Park Ji-hu) in front of everyone.

While the group is sharing a moment of respite, Gwi-nam who has now become a hambie (half-human and half-zombie) climbs to reach the rooftop. However, the group is unaware of this new type of zombie.

7) Lee Su-hyeok defends Nam-ra

While saving Lee Su-hyeok (Park Solomon) from Gwi-nam, Nam-ra gets bitten. As the others debate on what to do with her, Su-hyeok stands by her and defends her that she won’t harm anyone and takes full responsibility for her.

However, Nam-ra is initially unable to fight her urge to bite Su-hyeok but ultimately controls herself by biting and drinking her blood.

8) Su-hyeok confesses his feelings to Nam-ra

As the group decides to separate Nam-ra from them, Su-hyeok doesn’t leave her side. While they are alone, Su-hyeok confesses his feelings to her. Nam-ra then picks up the video recorder and records herself saying that she likes Su-hyeok and kisses him which leaves Su-hyeok surprised.

9) Cheong-san dies with Gwi-nam to save his friends

The military bombs the infected places in Hyeosan, including Hyeosan High School. While Cheong-san and Gwi-nam are fighting, the bombs are dropped on the school.

As he doesn’t have time to escape, Cheong-san grabs Gwi-nam and falls down the building while the whole building is on fire.

10) Su-hyeok, On-jo, and the rest of the group go to meet Nam-ra

At the end of the series All Of Us Are Dead, Su-hyeok, On-jo, and the other members of the group are rescued by the Army. They sneak out of the safe zone and go back to meet Nam-ra and bring her back with them.

However, Nam-ra refuses as there are more people like her outside of the safe zone. She assures them that even though they are apart, all of them are still friends and always will be.
