The Amazon Prime series, Rings of Power, revolves around the story of the second age of Middle-earth. The series depicts the events of the creation of the rings, the rise of Sauron’s evil power, and his quest for the rings of power.
The show introduced many new and old characters and also gave us a glimpse of their stories. One of those characters is Galadriel, played by Morfydd Clark. In Rings of Power, we see Galadriel’s strength as a warrior, her intelligence, and her negotiating abilities. From killing a huge snow troll alone to trying to convince King Adar of Sauron’s evil plan, Galadriel’s presence in the show is immense.

10) Galadriel takes up her brother’s mission to kill Sauron and end the evil in Middle-earth

In Season 1 of Rings of Power, Galadriel’s brother, Finrod, vows to kill Sauron to end the evil from the earth. However, he dies in the battle.
Later, Galadriel takes up her brother’s mission of killing Sauron and terminating evil from Middle-earth. She goes on a long journey to finish the task.
9) She defies Gil-Galad’s order and continues searching for Sauron

In season 1 of Rings of Power, it is shown that Galadriel’s search for Sauron keeps her away from her Valinor for years. She is ordered by Gil-Galad to give up her search as they believe Sauron has died.
Even her friend, Elrond, tries to convince her, but she firmly refuses to believe that Sauron is dead and continues her search.
8) Her relationship with her brother Finrod
In the prologue of Rings of Power, we get to see Galadriel and her brother Finrod’s relationship and one of the few times where Galadriel genuinely seems to be happy in the series.
Her brother appears to be a guiding force to her as he tries to stop Galadriel from striking someone who destroys her paper ship. He consoles her on her behavior. These heartwarming moments depict the bond between the sibling duo.
7) Stands up to Queen-regent Miriel
After Halbrand and Galadriel are taken to Numenor, they spend some time there. She even challenges and fights with the swordsmen of Numenor, showing her impressive skills of swordsmanship.
She requests Miriel for an army to fight against Sauron, which the Queen-regent refuses to give. She then fearlessly asks to speak to the real ruler of Numenor, King Tar-Palantir. Although she stands up to the queen, she is imprisoned beside Halbrand in a cell from which she easily runs away by fighting the royal guards in Rings of Power.
6) Her conversation with Bronwyn’s son Theo
After the Battle of Southlands in Rings of Power, Orodruin erupts and covers the whole area with fire and ash. Galadriel helps in looking for survivors and providing refuge for them.
During that time, she opens up to Bronwyn’s son Theo about her family and their tragic fates. She also counsels him on how to stop evil from contaminating your heart and mind.
5) Galadriel puts her life in danger to provide Elrond and their crew a safe passage to Lindon

In Season 2 of Rings Power, Galadriel encounters Adar’s Orcs outside Eregion and gives her ring to Elrond. She asks him to go back to Lindon and inform Gil-Galad about Adar’s upcoming attack on Eregion.
However, she doesn’t leave with them and stays there to distract the Orcs so that Elrond and their crew can go back to Lindon safely. She fiercely and confidently fights the Orcs but still gets captured by Adar. But she successfully sends her message to Gil-Galad through Elrond.
4) Galadriel declines Halbrand’s offer

After she recognizes Halbrand as Sauron in Rings of Power, Halbrand tries to lure her and convince her to join him. He tells her that he will make her his Queen, and they can together rule Middle-earth.
Galadriel firmly declines Halbrand’s offer and vows to kill him in the future.
3) Galadriel tries to convince Adar of Sauron’s plan regarding him

In Season 2 of Rings of Power, after Adar captures Galadriel, he assures her that she is not a prisoner and tries to persuade her to join his fight against Sauron.
He further shows his army of Orcs to Galadriel and tells her he can evade Eregion at any moment. Galadriel tries to convince him that this is Sauron’s plan; he wants Adar to destroy Eregion, but Adar doesn’t believe her. He is later killed by his own army on Sauron’s order before his redemption arc starts.
2) Galadriel and Elrond’s tender moments in the siege of Eregion

As Elrond and the elf army come to fight Adar and his Orcs in the siege of Eregion in season 2 of Rings of Power, Elrond sees Galadriel captured by Adar.
Adar asks Elrond to give him Galadriel’s ring, to which Elrond asks to talk to Galadriel for a few moments. He apologizes to her as he cannot give a powerful ring to Adar. Galadriel understands this and tells him to win. They share a tender kiss afterward, and Elrond slips a pin in Galadriel’s cloak to help her escape Adar.
1) She protects her ring from Sauron

In the finale of Season 2 of Rings of Power, Galadriel and Sauron fight each other. Sauron tries to trick Galadriel by transforming himself into different people, including Halbrand, but Galadriel isn’t swayed by his magic tricks.
Later, Sauron overpowers Galadriel, takes the nine rings from her, and asks her to give up her ring, but she does not give him her ring. She jumps from the cliff, risking her own life rather than giving her ring to Sauron.
