Amazon Prime’s The Rings of Power brought the second age of Middle-earth to our screens. From the creation of the Rings of Power to Sauron becoming the ultimate Evil Lord, it will cover all the important storylines that happened before The Lord of The Rings.
The show introduced us to significant characters, some of whom we are already acquainted with, and also several new characters that were created for the fantasy series, such as Elanor Brandyfoot, Bronwyn, and Adar.
Another important character that was created for the show was the Silvan Elf Arondir, played by Ismael Cruz Córdova. He is introduced as the watch guard who overlooks the villages and other human settlements in the Southlands.
Throughout the two seasons, Arondir displays exceptional strength in fighting numerous battles and also shows us his vulnerable side by demonstrating empathy towards the humans of the Southlands.
In this article, we have listed 10 of the best moments of Arondir from The Rings of Power.

10) Arondir tries to escape from Adar’s Orcs camp

In Season 1 of The Rings of Power, Arondir is captured by the orcs and forced to dig the tunnel that would take them to human villages.
While digging the tunnel, Arondir and Revion try to escape after fighting with the Orcs. Arondir was successful in freeing Revion, but as Revion attempted to run, he was hit by arrows, killing him instantly.
9) Arondir fought with a Warg

As Arondir and the other prisoners were attempting to escape, they also had to fight many orcs, including a warg, which injured many prisoners in The Rings of Power.
However, Arondir fought with the warg and even attempted to chain it up while killing several Orcs in the process, demonstrating his agility and combat skills.
8) Arondir recognized and hid the hilt which was a key to enslaving the Southlanders

In The Rings of Power, Bronwyn’s son Theo shows Arondir an ancient artifact that he had found. Arondir quickly recognized it to be a hilt, which was a key used to enslave Bronwyn’s ancestors.
He shared this information with Bronwyn and hid the hilt before Adar’s arrival.
7) He trained Theo

After half of the Southlanders leave to bow to Adar, Alondir starts training Theo in archery in The Rings of Power. Theo doesn’t like the idea of training under an elf who has always looked down upon them.
However, he reluctantly agrees and trains with Alondir, who becomes a mentor of sorts for him.
6) Arondir caught an arrow in mid-air

While saving Theo in The Rings of Power, Arondir showed his strength by quickly catching an arrow that was shot toward them and killing the shooter of the arrow.
He then killed many orcs with his arrows and provided a clear path for Bronwyn and her son Theo to escape.
5) He stopped Bronwyn from bowing to the enemy

As Bronwyn starts to lose hope of winning against Adar and his Orc children in The Rings of Power, she decides to bow to Adar to save the remaining southerners’ lives.
Arondir convinces her not to do that, as it would result in losing the virtue of her people that they spent years developing. Moreover, her bowing to the enemy will also make her son's and future generations’ lives meaningless.
Later, they together form the plan of collapsing the watchtower on the Orc army to kill them.
4) Arondir and Bronwyn kiss
As they prepare for the big battle, Alondir and Bronwyn share a tender moment while planting the alfirin seeds in The Rings of Power.
Alondir shared some of the seeds with her to plant, as in his tradition they plant alfirin seeds before a battle. They promise each other to plant all the seeds after the war with Theo and make a garden of their own. They then share a tender kiss, giving in to their feelings for each other.
3) Arondir helps Elrond and Gil-Galad in the seige of Eregion
In the finale of The Rings of Power, Arondir arrives to help Elrond and Gil-Galad in the siege of Eregion to fight Adar’s Army.
He even reaches close to Adar, shooting an arrow at him. He also saves Galadriel from getting recaptured by the Orcs after she escapes using Elrond’s brooch.
2) Arondir helps Elrond kill a giant Orc

In their fight against Adar’s children in The Rings of Power, Arondir plays a crucial role when he helps Elrond in killing a giant orc.
The initial attacks by the elf army turn futile on the giant orc, sending Elrond flying across the battlefield with just one push from the orc. Arondir comes leaping through several obstacles to help Elrond. He stabs one arm of the giant orc, pinning him to the ground while Elrond comes and gives it a final blow that ultimately kills it.
1) He was the first one who found Galadriel
After witnessing Galadriel fall off the cliff while fighting with Sauron, Arondir joins Elrond and Gil-Galad to look for her in the forest.
He is the first one to find Galadriel in the forest and also witnesses the power of the elven rings when Elrond and Gil-Galad use their rings to heal Galadriel in the finale of The Rings of Power Season 2.
