YouTuber Lee Jin-ho has stirred more drama in the Kim Sae-ron and Kim Soo-hyun controversy. Jin-ho, who has been active in the drama surrounding the late actress Kim Sae-ron and Kim Soo-hyun, the embattled Queen of Tears actor, dropped a bombshell video on YouTube on April 9, 2025.
The video is titled Shocking Exclusive! The Truth about the late Kim Sae-Ron’s ex-boyfriend… The truth about Kim Soo-Hyun’s 6-year relationship! In the video, Lee Jin-ho defied a legal ban for Kim Sae-ron's family and alleged that claims by Sae-Ron’s family and some media outlets that she dated the Queen of Tears actor while she was underage are false.
Lee Jin-ho, who calls himself an investigator in the case, alleged that he had verified stories from people who knew the late actress. The YouTuber also alleged that Soo-hyun didn’t date Sae-ron for up to 6 years, as claimed by Garosero Research Institute.
He buttressed his argument with claims that the actor saw someone else during that period.
In a quote from Ranking News, the online personality alleged:
"It is understood that Kim Soo-hyun had a romantic partner from 2016 until the end of his military service in 2019. It was a long-term relationship that lasted for about three years,"
Before adding:
"Kim Soo-hyun was discharged from the military on July 1, 2019. He broke up with his girlfriend of about 3 years toward the end of his military service. Kim Soo-hyun revealed that he dated Kim Sae-ron from the summer of 2019 to the fall of 2020. Then why wasn't he two-timing her? It's because Kim Sae-ron also had a lover she was seeing during this time."

In his April 9, 2025, upload, YouTuber Jin-ho mentioned, "Kim Sae Ron has a highly sociable personality and has dated various people from high school to university.” He stated that the late actress was very sociable and was often spotted showing affection to her partners in public.
Jin-ho also mentioned a 2018 FaceTime call log that reportedly proved that Sae-ron tried to contact Soo-hyun repeatedly, but there was no response from the latter. The controversial internet personality also mentioned a 2019 video that allegedly shows Sae-ron affectionately towards another man.
Although the lady in the video isn’t visible, Jin-ho maintained that metadata from the actress’s agency at the time proved it was her in it.
He added, in conclusion:
“This means that Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Sae Ron were both dating different people at the same time, as this evidence shows.”
Soo-hyun and Kim Sae-ron's scandal broke out on March 10, 2025, when a controversial YouTube channel claimed that the duo dated for six years, including when the actress was 15. In a March 31, 2025, press conference, Soo-hyun tearfully maintained his innocence and refuted claims that he dated Sae-ron when she was a minor.
