Lil Zay Osama reportedly gets arrested two weeks after being released from an alleged armed robbery. Isaiah Jaylaun Dukes, popularly known as Lil Zay Osama, is an American rapper. The rapper dubbed his style of music "pain music," which reflects the themes of grief, trauma, and survival.
The 27-year-old rapper started rapping at age 8, recording at age 10, and releasing his first track when he was 12. Lil Zay Osama made a big break into the mainstream with his song collection, Hood Bible, which was released in 2019.
Lil Zay signed with Warner Bros Records in 2019 and since then has released numerous songs, including Like a Pimp, Rumors, Ride 4 Me, and 61st to 64th, to mention a few.

Rapper Lil Zay Osama has had numerous run-ins with the police. In December 2023, after an Illinois police chase, Lil Zay Osama was apprehended after officers recovered loaded firearms. In 2024, the rapper was sentenced to 14 months in prison on a federal weapons charge for possessing an altered firearm in a vehicle.
Now, the Chicago-based rapper is under investigation for being a suspect in the March 13 LA smoke shop robbery. The robbery happened on Thursday, March 13, around 9 am, when two unsuspecting videographers were invited to the Hubci Smoke Shop along Melrose Avenue to help shoot a music video.
Upon arrival, the two victims were ambushed by the right suspects, Osama included, who were said to have held them at gunpoint. The two victims were severely beaten; one suffered from lacerations on the head, while the other had several teeth removed due to a hit on the face by a pistol.

The perpetrators robbed the victims of their valuables and absconded in two vehicles, a yellow Lamborghini Urus and a black BMW. The police were able to trace one of the vehicles, the Lamborghini, and a 40-minute chase ensued involving the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), California Highway Patrol (CHP), and the Ventura County Sheriff's deputies.
The chase ended at Santa Rosa Valley, detaining two of the eight suspects. The other six occupants of the BMW remain on the loose, and police investigations are ongoing.
Lil Zay Osama's numerous brushes with the law make him a high suspect in the orchestration of the robbery.

Although the police haven't released any official charges against Osama, they have confirmed that he is a person of interest in the investigation. LAPD continues to work with the local police to bring all the suspects into custody.
