Dominique Armani Jones, popularly known as Lil Baby, is a Grammy-nominated rapper and songwriter. The Atlanta-born rapper founded his record label, 4PF (4 Pockets Full), in 2018. In a December 2024 episode of A Safe Place Podcast by Lil Yachty, Dominique revealed that 4PF had "come to an end" and is taking care of his new label, Glass Window Entertainment. The rapper had claimed that he "started learning" that due to "other people's assets," he "could be held accountable."

Months later, criminal journalist George Chidi has alleged that Lil Baby and 4PF may be next in line for induction in the RICO case. According to him, "Shawn Hoover, the head of Georgia Public Defender's Council Unit, is" actively preparing for an indictment on 4PF and OMF (Only My Family)." Chidi noted that Hoover expects that they will indict "high-profile" rappers, including Lil Baby.

George Chidi is a criminal journalist who had previously predicted the indictment of rapper Young Thug in the YSL RICO trial that kicked off in late 2023. An Instagram thread shared by user @keytalkmedia shows Chidi's claims about the potential indictment.

On February 27, 2025, Maj. Ralph Woolfolk, Atlanta Police Homicide Commander, alleged in a press conference that Lil Baby's video shoot in May 2024 "escalated gang violence" and the unfortunate fatalities of two "13-year-old boys." On February 28, 2025, Dominique reportedly shared a story on his socials and claimed it was "fake news." According to sources, authorities are reportedly looking into the criminal activities linked to the rival gangs, 4PF and OMF.

A few days later, Dominique's attorneys, Drew Findling and Marissa Goldberg, called the statements made in the press conference "nonsense." They noted that while Dominique's name was not taken, clear references were made towards his filming the music video. They added,

"To say that he couldn’t shoot a music video in his hometown, a place that he loves and has continued to uplift, is disgraceful. Even more, the location for a major music video shoot is a decision made by a professional team and is not a decision made by any individual."

It has not been made officially clear if the case has been closed or if the authorities continue to investigate Dominique and 4PF's activities.

George Chidi has potentially claimed that Lil Baby is next in line for indictment in the RICO case. While George had predicted Young Thug's involvement, it is unclear if it was a coincidence. Additionally, Chidi's claims about Shawn Hoover have not been confirmed officially by the authorities.
