Who is Brock Pierce? Everything you need to know

Brock, who in 2020 announced his candidacy for President of the United States, has been making headlines for reaching out with support to Wendy Williams, best known for the talk show The Wendy Williams Show.

According to Page Six, Brock Pierce reached out to Wendy after she threw a handwritten note from the window of her assisted living facility in New York. The note read ''Help! Wendy!!.'' After the note-throwing incident, the police took her to the Lenox Hill Hospital, where the doctors confirmed that despite her previous diagnosis, her cognitive abilities were stable.

Brock also made an Instagram post where he mentioned what he felt about the Wendy situation. He captioned the post, saying:

''I have always admired Wendy Williams’ strength and resilience, and when I saw her in need, I felt compelled to offer my support. Wendy has given so much to the world as both a woman and an entertainer.''

He continued:

''Years ago, I had the privilege of being a guest on her radio show, and now I want to extend a helping hand to an old friend in her time of need.''

Wendy has been staying at the memory care unit of an assisted living facility, trying to end her court-ordered guardianship, which was placed in 2022. The guardianship was placed as there were concerns about her health and her ability to manage her finances.

In a press release, he also said:

''Brock’s goal is to help Wendy regain her freedom and health,” while his private manse would, “provide Wendy with a secure environment where she can focus on recovery without the pressures of the public eye.''
“This offer is an open invitation to Wendy to take the time she needs to heal and find peace in an environment free from the pressures that have burdened her.''

Brock Pierce retired from acting at the age of 16 and went on to work to establish Digital Entertainment Network (DEN), a multimedia company. In 2003, he founded ZAM Network, which focused on online gaming communities. He then became the CEO of Playsino, a social casino gaming platform.

Later, he focused on blockchain and cryptocurrency investments and, in 2013, co-founded Blockchain Capital. He also co-founded Tether, a leading stablecoin, and Block.one, where he became the Director of the Bitcoin Foundation.

Although it's not clear which mansion Brock Pierce is referring to in his statement, it should be noted that he owns several properties in NYC and Washington, DC, and a former monastery in Puerto Rico and Amsterdam.
