NFL player Kobie Turner recently tied the knot with his high school sweetheart, Alissa Villanueva, on March 8, 2025. The ceremony took place at The Estate at River Run in Maidens, Virginia.
According to a report in People magazine, their Italian-style nuptials were attended by 94 guests, which included their high-school choir teacher, who blessed their wedding. The bride wore "The Palmer" wedding dress from Ava Laurenne Bride. Her sleeves and veil were designed by Fashion Irina's Irina Ciobanu, and her shoes by Dior.

Villanueva told the outlet in an exclusive interview.
“This was something we knew we wanted from the very beginning of wedding planning.” Her nephews served as the flower boys.
Villanueva graduated from Centreville High School in Washington, D.C., in 2018, where she met her now-husband, Turner. The two met in a choir class during her sophomore and junior years.

Sharing an incident from her past, when Villanueva and Turner were preparing for an upcoming duet, she told the outlet how he helped her when she panicked and forgot her lines.
"I literally panicked in the beginning of the song and forgot the words, but Kobie helped me and I was able to sing it," she said. "During this whole process, I really started to fall for Kobie hard. He is one of the most encouraging and helpful people I know."
When Turner left for college ahead of Villanueva, their relationship became long-distance. She reportedly shared on her TikTok in 2023 how it has been a tough ride for them and that "the goodbyes never get easier."
According to her Instagram, Turner and Villanueva got engaged on April 25, 2023. She took to her Instagram to share the news and wrote, “FINALLY! Forever and always yes!!” announcing their engagement.
She shared a carousel with Turner. In the pictures, they are seen walking hand-in-hand with each other, while one picture shows the NFL star bending on one knee and popping the question to Villanueva.
Alissa has been a constant supporter of Kobie’s professional journey, including his NFL career and unexpected stint as "Goo" on The Masked Singer Season 11 in 2024. During his first year on the Los Angeles Rams, Villanueva took to her Instagram to praise her then-boyfriend and wrote,
“Watching you achieve your dreams is my favorite thing and seeing you be YOU on and off the field is inspiring.”
While speaking to People magazine about their wedding, she exclaimed that it’s what they have always dreamed of and “we can't wait to make it official.”
She added,
“From the very beginning, the purpose of our relationship was always to build toward marriage. Here we are almost eight years later, reaping the benefits of the commitment that we made together.”
They reportedly exchanged handwritten vows.

Villanueva told People magazine.
