Candace was fired from Daily Wire in March 2024 following a series of controversies. In the episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan shared his views on Candace after she was fired. He said:

''It's like they created a monster with her when they when they fired her from the Daily Wire they created a monster.''

Joe and Dave Smith discuss about Candance on The Joe Rogan Experience

The Joe Rogan Experience—a podcast hosted by Joe that covers topics from pop culture and politics to health and fitness—recently invited the comedian, Dave Smith on the show.

In the episode, they discussed politics, media narratives, and culture wars. They also discussed Candace Owens being fired from Daily Wire. Joe pointed out how the firing made Candace a monster, as there is now a surge in independent content after she left the media company.

He also highlighted one of her series called ''Brigitte Macron is a man.'' It is an investigatory series that promotes the debunked conspiracy theory that Brigitte Macron, the First Lady of France, was born male and later changed into a female.

On March 22, 2024, Candace shared a post on X (formerly Twitter) announcing her exit from Daily Wire. She captioned the post:

The rumors are true— I am finally free.

Back in 2023 when there were speculations of Candace being fired from the company, Jeremy Boreing, the CEO and co-founder of Daily Wire made a post on X where he clarified that the company would support the host's freedom to speak independently and to express their opinions even if they disagreed with them. In the post, he said:

In my current capacity, I cannot fire Candace Owens. That’s something Ben and I have in common since he is also not an executive in the company and cannot hire or fire people.
But even if we could, we would not fire Candace because of another thing we have in common - a desire not to regulate the speech of our hosts, even when we disagree with them.

He continued:

Candace is paid to give her opinion, not mine or Ben’s. Unless those opinions run afoul of the law or she violates the terms of her contract in some way, her job is secure and she is welcome at Daily Wire.

However, shortly after in 2024, Candace left the Daily Wire which suggested that tensions escalated. Currently, Candace Owens hosts her independent podcasts, and it has over four million subscribers on YouTube.
