According to The Hollywood Reporter, Cassie Ventura has agreed to take the stand against her former partner, Sean "Diddy" Combs, who is currently facing charges of s*x trafficking, physical assault, and more. The "Me N U" singer had been in an on-and-off relationship with the rap mogul for 11 years, since 2007, before finally calling it quits in 2018.
As per the same report in THR, the prosecution wrote,
“[Ventura] is prepared to testify under her own name. Victim-2, Victim-3, and Victim-4 have asked that their identities not be revealed to the press or the public,”
However, when she broke off her relationship with Diddy, she filed a lawsuit against him on the charges of physical assault and s*xual violence against her. Although her initial lawsuit was settled out of court the day after it was filed, it opened the floodgates for several others to accuse Diddy of the same charges, leading to his arrest in 2024.
The rap mogul is currently facing trial, which will begin on May 5. However, with Cassie Ventura now deciding to take the stand against Diddy under her own name instead of going anonymous, many people are curious to know everything that the singer had accused Diddy of in the first place.

Everything that Cassie Ventura accused her former partner Sean "Diddy" Combs of in her multiple lawsuits over the years
Cassie Ventura filed a lawsuit against her former partner, Sean "Diddy" Combs, after they broke up in 2018. She accused him of domestic violence and physical assault. While the lawsuit was settled out of court the next day, it opened the gates for several other similar lawsuits against Diddy.
After filing the November 2023 lawsuit, Ventura explained in a statement,
“After years in silence and darkness, I am finally ready to tell my story, and to speak up on behalf of myself and for the benefit of other women who face violence and abuse in their relationships,”
In May 2024, a video surfaced of the security camera footage from a hotel, which showed Ventura trying to escape from a room and Diddy chasing after her. This was followed by Diddy physically assaulting her and then grabbing her belongings.
After the video surfaced, Cassie Ventura opened up in a statement about her experience with domestic violence and the issues she faced with Diddy.
"Domestic Violence is THE issue. It broke me down to someone I never thought I would become. With a lot of hard work, I am better today, but I will always be recovering from the past. This healing journey is never ending, but this support means everything to me."
After Diddy's arrest in September 2024 on the grounds of racketeering conspiracy, transportation to engage in prostitution, and s*x trafficking, a source told People Magazine,
"There have been so many people protecting Diddy for so long and it’s not an exaggeration to say [Cassie's] life was in danger through all this,"
As of now, Diddy is set for a court trial that will commence on May 5. Although four witnesses were set to take the stand anonymously, under the names of Victim 1, 2, 3, and 4, Cassie Ventura has now decided to take the stand under her own name.
