Chicago rapper Munna Ikee is reportedly facing assault charges. The 20-year-old rapper has been accused of allegedly breaking his girlfriend’s neck. An allegation that he has vehemently denied.
It has been reported by multiple news outlets that the Dark Stage rapper, whilst in a physical altercation with his girlfriend, slammed her against some surface, and she reportedly suffered a broken neck.
According to No Jumper, the rapper shared what appeared to be song lyrics on his Instagram stories to address the rumors:
“Look up at the judge. Can’t look; stay making’ up lies for sure. I’m a innocent man for sure, it is what it is for sure.”

The rapper continues to emphasize his innocence every chance he gets. He posted on his Instagram Stories:
“Not liking someone is cool, but making up lies and giving out false information cause you don't like me and want to see me at my lowest is weird.”
The rapper also told fans that all charges against him had been dropped. @Saycheesetv shared the news amongst followers on Instagram that the rapper was being accused of alleged assault. Munna Ikee took to the comments to announce to his fans that he was no longer being accused of hurting anyone:
“For one, all the charges against me was dropped due to the fact that the information was false.”
Saycheesetv, in its Instagram post, attached a screenshot of what appears to be the rapper’s girlfriend in a neck brace in the hospital with the caption:
“HE GOING UNDER THE JAIL FOR BREAKING MY NECKKK & HIS FAMILY KEEP HARASSING ME. LEAVE ME ALONE.”
Munna Ikee, who has released tracks like Love Lost, Intro and Before, amongst others, appeared on the No Jumper podcast on January 29, 2024. The Chicago based rapper talked about growing up in Parkway Gardens, a neighborhood in Illinois Chicago:
“I’ve been there since I was 6 months. I’m nineteen now so you do the maths. Growing up there it was really decent like we just had to grow up faster than like a normal kid…. By the time you are ten years old, you gotta have a mindset like you fifteen. They don’t play fair in the streets.”
The rapper talked about artists like Sosa, Boss Top, and Dirk, whom he grew up listening to. The Chicago rapper also mentioned that he would love to collaborate with Drake, Meek Mill, Lil Durk, Polo G and Chance the Rapper. He also spoke about Country Music and added that he started enjoying it after listening to Lil Durk and Morgan Wallen.
Munna Ikee has reportedly claimed that the charges against him have been dropped. Stay tuned for more updates.
