Online streamer and Internet personality Ludwig Ahgren has revealed his decision to walk away from his YouTube channel, Mogul Mail. In his recent stream on Twitch on April 22, 2025, Agren explained that his decision comes after the change in content on YouTube. According to Dexerto, he answered a follower's question about whether he will post on Mogul Mail again. He answered,
"No, I don’t think so. I think the drama landscape has changed quite a bit on YouTube in a way that I don’t like."
He explained that he has a preference for "fun drama", but he has been seeing the rise of "drama frogs", which have become "powerful" and "scarier." He added,
"They drive fear into my heart. So, you know, I’m doing quite well. We’re chilling. It’s a bit of money to lose, but that’s okay. I don’t need that money.”
The stream comes four months after Ludwig shut down operations of Offbrand, a platform that helped streamers launch their events. Ludwig explained his decision on his YouTube channel, Mogul Mail, and revealed he is paying his team "severance" for two months. He explained that the decision came in light of "operational" and financial difficulties.
Ludwig says he is done covering "drama" for good, irrespective of the earnings from the channel

Ludwig Ahgren's channel, Mogul Mail, grew in popularity for its humorous and relatable content. Even though Ahgren has revealed his intentions not to go back to making videos on the channel, the channel has approximately 1.65 million followers. In his live stream on Twitch on April 22, he also answered a fan's question to know about the earnings through his YouTube channel.
He initially revealed the number of subscribers that he has been losing on the channel and lightly joked about it. He then presented his screen and showed his viewers his lifetime earnings. He noted,
"I’ve never looked at this before. But lifetime, this channel’s revenue… $826,000. Maybe I go back to the drama well, man. Maybe I go back. What if we go back to the drama, man?"
Ludwig Ahgren expressed surprise at the total amount and also revealed he had "sponsors." He explained the revenue sharing on the channel,
"You know, the crazy thing about Mogul Mail is didn’t share this revenue with anyone. Like the main channel, I share the revenue – I have four editors, the broader revenue goes to my company, but there was no editors on Mogul Mail.”
Ahgren may not be returning to his YouTube channel anytime soon. The content creator explained that he doesn't want to work in the "drama landscape", even though the channel earns millions. He emphasised that his intention is not to run the channel only for "money." However, he has clarified that he will continue streaming, playing games, and working on Mogul Moves.
