DDG finally reunited with his son, Halo, after alleging that his former partner, Halle Bailey, prevented him from seeing him. The rapper and live streamer recently discussed co-parenting issues with The Little Mermaid star.

On March 8, 2025, DDG expressed frustration with the little time he had left with his son since his breakup with Bailey. During a live session on Twitch, he revealed that he initially didn’t want to air his private business online but was forced to due to the circumstances.

“Behind closed doors, I have not been able to see my son. Only if we on perfect terms and she around, it’s cool, but if we not, I don’t get to see him,”

The Internet personality maintained that he only got to see his son for a limited time and added that the nanny got more time with his son than himself:

"Every time I’m there, he got a smile on his face, he happy to see me, but he only can see me for no more than 48 hours. I haven’t had my son to myself for longer than 72 hours max."

He added:

"I really feel like I’m a f**king nanny at this point. The nanny has been able to have my son more than me. And I don’t even know the nanny name. Like, it’s just not fair, bro. So I have to come on here, and I gotta do this sh*t."

Netizens react to video of DDG reuniting with his son Halo

A recent video of the rapper holding his son during a live session has been circulating online, and fans have reacted.

Some X users celebrated the cute family moment:

“This is so heartwarming! I’m so happy for DDG and his son. It’s always great to see families reunited,” @AnyaLacey01 stated.
“This is so sweet! I’m sure DDG’s son is happy to see his dad. It’s a special moment for both of them,” @Anvavxx added.

Others criticized the rapper for constantly putting his son on the livestream:

“And why did this have to be on a live stream? He couldn’t hang with his son offline?” @4everRnbGenius asked.
“Why does it have to be on the stream lmao?” @Jushhhhh added.
“Why does every interaction with his son have to be streamed???" @remsuuy tweeted.

The couple broke up in October 2024 and were together for Halo’s birthday celebration in December.
