Following the tragic deaths of Texas rapper G$ Lil Ronnie and his five-year-old daughter, R’Mani, on March 3, 2025, the response of Ronnie’s partner has sparked an online debate.

According to a report in All Hip Hop, Shanon Jones and her immediate family members hosted a balloon release in honor of her deceased daughter and her husband on March 12, 2025. A video which has gone viral shows Jones celebrating, as she flexes stacks of cash on the camera.

She reportedly set up a GoFundMe campaign to help cover funeral expenses and to deter scammers from attempting to capitalize on the deaths of her family members, but her behavior has led to widespread scrutiny among social media users.

Some have condemned her actions as disrespectful, while others questioned how she could be using the donation money in such a manner so soon after the loss. They suggested that the funds were misused by Jones.

Fans have slammed G$ Lil Ronnie’s girlfriend, Shanon Jones, for her outrageous way of celebrating the death of her loved ones, including her daughter and her boyfriend. Some users questioned if she was involved in the killing as she behaved indifferently to the loss.

This is not the first time G$ Lil Ronnie’s surviving girlfriend has come under scrutiny. TMZ reported that during a three-hour livestream on her Instagram account, she told her audience that she was going to bury her child in a custom Gucci outfit and her slain boyfriend, G$ Lil Ronnie, in Prada.

Jones also said that she is not that upset that her daughter died, but she was more disturbed with how she died. She received backlash from the netizens, who interpreted her words as callous and sickening. It raised the question among the masses of whether she lacked emotional depth.

According to the reports, G$ Lil Ronnie and his five-year-old daughter were gunned down in broad daylight at a car wash in the Fort Worth suburb of Forest Hill, Texas. A video that circulated on X showed gunmen chasing the rapper in the car wash.

A report by TMZ has identified the suspects in the case as Adonis Robinson and Jakobie Russell, who have been reported to be on the run. Police have urged the public to contact their department in case they see or know their whereabouts.
