The "Wait a Minute" singer and rapper, Ray J, has changed his views on Diddy's s*xual assault case. Diddy, who is facing serious federal charges including racketeering, s*x trafficking, and transportation for prostitution, is behind bars in New York.

Ray J recently appeared in a live stream with the internet celebrity Sneako, where he made bold claims, saying that although Diddy is facing some serious charges, he will still emerge victorious. In the live stream, he said that the "charges Diddy is facing are weak."

This statement of Ray J is the opposite of what he said about Diddy to Shannon Sharpe on the Club Shay Shay podcast.

Recently, Ray J appeared in a live stream where he made some bold statements about Diddy, also known as Sean Combs, ongoing se*ual assault case. In the live stream, he said:

''Puffy ‘bout to get out too, on the dead homies. Puffy getting out. All that stuff they’re trying to charge him with is nonsense, bro.''

He continued:

''He did something bad that we all saw—and that sh*t’s unacceptable—but that’s not what the charges are for. The charges are weak, and it’s not funny, and it’s not okay.''

Back in November 2023, when Cassie, Diddy's ex-girlfriend, had filed the first lawsuit and accused Diddy of r*pe and abuse, Ray J had extended his support to her.

Following that, in January 2024, when Ray J was on Shannon Sharpe's Club Shay Shay podcast, he called out Diddy on the show and also said that he should be publicly punished for what he did. Back then, in the show, he said:

''The homie need a public whipping… 100 lashes… 1,000 lashes. That would help. 1,000 lashes from everybody that you’ve slained and hurt. 1,000 lashes publicly,” Ray J said at the time. “1,000, that would help. 1,000 lashes made by you, somebody your size that’s gon’ give it to him. Not my size. My arm hurts. Your size, n#### ain’t gon make it past nine.''

Diddy is facing five felony charges for crimes that occurred over two decades. Diddy's lawyers had asked for a sixty-day delay in the s*x trafficking trial, as his lawyers said that certain vital information was shared with them last minute; however, the request was denied by the judge. His federal trial will begin on May 5, and he's currently held at the Metropolitan Detention Centre in Brooklyn.
