“It’s time to stop comparing speed to any streamer coz he is just on another level,” @Soso_bby1 expressed.
Other Netizens were confused about the meaning of the Chinese characters on the sides of his face and expressed such:
“You know what those two Chinese words mean? @McLovinMittens asked.
“@grok, what do the Chinese characters say?” @KalkiMD added.

IShowSpeed’s team has denied claims that the Chinese government has paid him for a streaming tour
The popular streamer began his China tour on March 24, 2025, and has taken viewers on an exploration of the country. He showcased his backflip skills surrounded by locals on the Great Walls of China.
He also did six consecutive backflips in the Forbidden City of Beijing. He played table tennis with Jackson Wang in Shanghai before trying some local dishes like cow intestine, squid, and Chinese egg tart.
His presence in the country has gathered widespread interest, and the South China Morning Post reported that IShowSpeed has been praised by Chinese government officials for showcasing a desire for “mutual understanding between Americans and Chinese amid escalating trade fictions.”
Amidst the streamer’s exploration of China, speculations are rife that the Chinese government might be sponsoring his tour in the country. These rumors were addressed by a member of the streamer’s team, Slipz.
Slipz tweeted on March 27, 2025:
“Fact: the amount of money IShowspeed has received from the Chinese Government = $0,”
He added:
"Posting so it can be used as an actual source. Hi, I am internal with the IShowspeed team. He is in China at his own expense and will likely take a net loss.”
The streamer’s alleged team member explained that by referring to net loss, he meant “stream income” and the “cost of travel.”
He continued:
“[Year to year], speed is not at a net loss by doing tours because of things like influence, overall growth, and what comes with that in the long run. But the majority of the time, on tours, speed breaks even or loses.”
IShowSpeed plans to visit Mongolia and Hong Kong in the coming weeks as part of his tour.
