British rapper and internet personality Yung Filly, whose real name is Andres Felipe Barrientos, has pleaded not guilty to multiple charges of s*xual assault in Western Australia. The charges include three counts of assault occasioning bodily harm, one charge of strangulation, and four counts of s*xual penetration without consent. His case is headed to a higher District Court on June 13th, 2025.

In October 2024, a young woman reported to the Western Australia Police, claiming that she was s*xually assaulted in rapper Yung Filly’s hotel room just hours after his opening show at Bar1 on September 27. Since October the rapper has been out on bail.

On Tuesday, Barrientos appeared before the Perth Magistrates' Court, where he denied all s*xual assault-related charges.

Following his court appearance, the rapper faced paparazzi outside the court. Instead of addressing the allegations directly, he remained lighthearted and avoided discussing the case. He greeted reporters and remarked on the pleasant weather before swiftly departing in a car.

“Good afternoon. Enjoy the weather man, it’s a lovely day!”

The news of Yung Filly’s legal troubles sent shockwaves through the UK YouTube and music community. Known for his exciting personality, the news has led to some professional consequences as his show with good friend Chunkz now stands canceled.

Lots of people he's close with have backed away and are staying pretty quiet for now.

At this point, Barrientos is still free on bail but the conditions remain strict. His legal battle is expected to unfold further in the coming months, with the trial set to determine the outcome of the serious accusations against him.

The rapper began his YouTube career in 2013. He regularly appears on Footasylum's YouTube channel, starring in the Does The Shoe Fit series. He is a collaborator with the Beta Squad, a YouTube collective. The rapper has also appeared in videos with the Sidemen.


The rapper will appear before the higher District Court in June 2025, for further proceedings. Previously, he pleaded guilty to reckless driving charges back in December 2024. Authorities recorded him speeding at over 96 mph on the Roe Highway near High Wycombe.
