Jim Jones was recently spotted attacking and dissing his longtime rival 50 Cent. This has once again stirred up drama in the New York rap scene. Jim Jones seemed to be pretty confident about his dominance in the NYC hip hop.

You dig? Like, I got a lot of gold singles, I got some action with me. It's going to be hard for a lot of people from New York to win with Capo. And I got freestyles.

In his recent interview on The Breakfast Club, he was talking about his freestyle skills and gold singles. When asked about 50 Cent by the co-host DJ Envy, Jones was quick to dismiss him.

His comments were not taken well and the response was called for. Jim Jones stated,

ah, I won't do nothing with that s*cker, you heard? Leave him out the conversation.

Quite obviously, it didn't take long for 50 cents to respond. He lashed back on Instagram, mocking Jones's career and stating he only has one hit. He was talking about We Fly High (Ballin') in his comments.

It was evident that Cent did not take it well. He called Jim Jones delusional and went on referring to past conflicts by writing,

delusional JoMo only got one song, Ballin written by Max B. better shut up before I have True Life chasing your a** around the city again. F*cking PUNK!

He claimed that Jones's hit song reached that position only because Max B wrote it.

The feud seems to be the hot topic in the New York Hip Hop scene. Netizens are commenting on Cent's response and guessing if this is going to turn into something big, or if it is just for the clout.

The History Behind Feud between 50 Cent and Jim Jones

The beef between Jim Jones and 50 Cent is nothing new. It has been brewing for years now.

Yes, it is true that the beef never really escalated into something big. Fans expected diss tracks from both the rappers. But their slight back and forth has kept fans entertained.

Many a time 50 Cent was spotted talking about Jones's authenticity in the rap game, while Jim has answered back with his claims of influence and success. He has constantly mocked Jones's career, business decisions, and affiliations.

This has continued over the years. It was all fun and games until the Dipset Drama.

Jim Jones and Cam'ron were once quite close, as they were the key members of The Diplomats (Dipset). Their relationship went through a rough patch over business agreements and power struggles.

Jones felt Cam'ron wasn't supportive of his career and Cam'ron believed that Jones was trying to take control of Dipset.

Seeing their fallout, 50 Cent sided with Cam'ron, despite their past beef. This alliance put Jim in an awkward position as it came off like his former partner has teamed up with one of his biggest rivals.

This has ever since added to the entire drama, adding fuel to the long-standing feud.
