TikToker Alix Earle is taking a break from podcasting for the "foreseeable future."

Earle's decisions come on the heels of reports swirling that her Hot Mess podcast was dropped by Alex Cooper-founded Unwell Network last month. According to E! News, Earle indicated in a March 26 TikTok video that restrictions have been placed on all her podcasting endeavors:

"I have to put a pause on podcasting right now for the foreseeable future," she said in the clip. "Don't really want to get into the details of it all, and I kind of can't get into the details of it all right now, but I've loved it so much, and I'm really proud of what I built with the podcast."

Everything we know about Alix Earle's podcasting endeavor as she announces she's abandoning it for podcasting and investing in alcohol instead:

In the rest of the clip, Alix Earle explained that while she may be pausing podcasting, she will redirect her efforts into vlogging on YouTube instead:

"I don't want to just leave you astray and not leave you with anything," she continued. "I also think I would lose my mind. So, good news is I'm gonna be putting out weekly vlogs for the foreseeable future."

Adding that the vlogs will be "a behind-the-scenes of my life," she said that the first video, which came out just yesterday, March 26, chronicles her family's spring break. As for the next video, it will be based on her experience at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami.

"There's going to be no lack of content—it's just going to be a little bit different," the Earle, 24, shared. "There's been a lot going on over the past month, and although not in an ideal situation right now, we are gonna have a really good time. I'm a big believer in everything happens for a reason."

According to People Magazine, Unwell Network renounced all rights to Hot Mess, revealing that SiriusXM is no longer responsible for selling ads for the show. Alix Earle joined the network back in 2023. She initially addressed the chatter surrounding the news back in February when she took to TikTok to say that she had "no idea what's going on."

On February 26 she took to Instagram to assert that she already had her next business venture in mind, revealing that she would be investing in a new alcohol brand. She also divulged that she would be keeping the name of the brand a secret until its launch, whose details remain unclear.

"I wanted to do something in the alcohol space since I graduated college," Earle explained in the clip on Instagram. "I've been trying to find some way to get involved."

Adding that she had a tough time finding a brand that best suited her, she came across the brand in the summer of 2024, noting that it "never really took off."

"But I was obsessed with it," Alix Earle continued. "So I said, 'Let me explore this,' and didn't really think anything would come of it... but I [decided to invest] in this company. The other cool part of this is it could completely fail," she added. "It's scary... there's a lot that goes into it and [starting something new] is scary, but I believe in it. I believe in the team and the product and I'm very excited."

Earlier this month, Alix Earle missed the Unwell Network Super Bowl event in New Orleans, further intensifying rumors surrounding her podcast. However, she has yet to address the situation head-on.
