Streamer Kaitlyn “Amouranth” Siragusa faced an ordeal when armed intruders broke into her home as they demanded access to her cryptocurrency assets. The streamer is known for her content on Twitch, OnlyFans, and investments in esports.

She claimed on social media that she managed to shoot and scare off the attackers before law enforcement intervened. The streamer shared a video and a series of X posts on her official X (formerly Twitter) page. The posts read:

"I’m being too robbed at gunpoint."
"I believe I shot one of them, they wanted crypto, is what they were yelling, they pulled me out of bed."
"This was a home invasion, SWAT here now I’m safe."

She continued:

"Was at gun point they gave me phone and said log in with gun to my head and I tweeted because calling would be a death sentence."
"I’m covered in blood but only some of it is mine I’ll update yall later but I’m safe now."

Amouranth updated fans that she had been pistol-whipped during the struggle but managed to defend herself:

"They pistol whipped me but I got one. I’m bleeding alot but stable going to hospital."

The short video she shared on X showed multiple police vehicles outside her gated home. It confirmed that law enforcement had arrived at the scene. Amouranth assured her fans that she was safe. However, she has suffered injuries.

The incident took place on the night of March 3, 2025. Amouranth has been open about her investments, including crypto holdings. She became the target of criminals who believed she had large amounts of digital wealth at her disposal.

Amouranth was forced to tweet (X post) at gunpoint

One of the most shocking details of the incident was that the assailants allegedly forced Amouranth to log into her social media accounts at gunpoint, Dexerto reports. She later explained on an X post why she posted online instead of calling for help:

"Was at gun point they gave me phone and said log in with gun to my head and I tweeted because calling would be a death sentence."

The streamer's quick thinking might have helped alert law enforcement and her online community to the situation she was in at her home.

Emergency response and hospitalization

After her distress call, police and SWAT teams responded to secure the area. Amouranth was taken to the hospital for treatment but was later discharged. Her assistant provided updates. She confirmed that she was recovering and her security had been tightened.

Where Is The Buzz reports that in a statement, Amouranth's assistant shared,

"I’m leaving the house now. Kait is at the hospital with family, and I handled the police with statements, etc. […] The animals are all safe, and Kait will be discharged tonight. She does have injuries. I will be with her in the morning as well, and we [won’t] be alone at any point. There will be security. Whoever is saying this is fake, I can guarantee you this isn’t, and I never want to be this scared again."

This attack on Amouranth highlights the need for online personalities to be cautious about revealing their financial information and securing their assets.
