Pam Bondi is an American lawyer who has been the US attorney general in President Donald Trump's Republican administration since 2025. Before this, she made history as Florida's first female attorney general from 2011 to 2019.

She earned a criminal justice degree from the University of Florida in 1987 and a law degree from Stetson University in 1990. She has also worked as a legal analyst and frequently appears on Fox News and CNN.

Bondi said the Jeffrey Epstein files will probably be released on February 27, 2025. During an interview with Fox News on February 26, 2025, she addressed the delay in releasing the files. She said:

“There are well, over, this will make you sick, 200 victims, 200. So, we have well over 250 actually. So, we have to makes sure that their identity is protected and their personal information but other than that, I think tomorrow, you know, the personal information of the victims."

She continued:

"Other than that, I think tomorrow, Jesse, the breaking news right now, you are going to see some Epstein information being released by my office.”

Jesse Watters inquired about the type of information that would be released. Bondi mentioned that many flight logs, names, and details would likely be revealed soon. She described the situation as disturbing and highlighted the actions of Jeffrey Epstein and his co-defendant.

Marsha Blackburn requested the FBI and IRS to release information about Jeffrey Epstein.

Last week, Bondi spoke to the news agency about the files, saying they were on her desk and pending review as per President Trump's directive. US Senator Marsha Blackburn sent a letter to the FBI director Kash Patel and Bondi on February 24, 2025, requesting the release of the files. In her letter, she wrote:

“The American people deserve to know exactly who was affiliated with this network. As you know, over the course of many years, Jeffrey Epstein built a heinous global s*x trafficking network that caused irreparable harm to countless women. Since Mr. Epstein’s death in 2019, there is still much about this tragic case that is not known.”

Director Patel assured Senator Blackburn in a confirmation hearing that he would cooperate in releasing the files to ensure transparency. While some redacted sections of Jeffrey Epstein's flight logs and his accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell's contact book have surfaced in lawsuits, the FBI is expected to provide complete, unedited records for full public disclosure.

In her letter to the FBI, Blackburn criticized former Director Wray for failing to follow through on his promise to provide more information on Jeffrey Epstein's case after a Judiciary Committee hearing in December 2023.

Over a year later, the necessary details remain undisclosed. She urged Patel to uphold his commitment to transparency and eliminate unfair practices within the FBI by releasing all relevant records to her and the public.

In a letter to the IRS, Blackburn requested the release of all records revealing individuals and entities with financial ties to Jeffrey Epstein or Ghislaine Maxwell. She also asked for any documents, records, or memos related to both individuals to be shared with her and made public.
