Jenny Slate, who played Allysa Kincaid in the film It Ends With Us, reportedly filed an HR complaint. Blake Lively and Justin Bladoni, the two main actors in the film It Ends With Us, which is based on a book of the same name by New York Times best-seller author Colleen Hoover, have been stuck in a legal battle against each other for months.

With all the ongoing controversy surrounding the movie, as well as multiple lawsuits, it turns out that Lively and Baldoni's co-star Jenny Slate had also allegedly run into a tough situation during filming.

Who is Jenny Slate?

Jenny Slate is an American actress and comedian who gained recognition through her earlier stand-up work. She has played a variety of roles in prominent films and TV shows alike. To name a few, the actress has acted in films like Gifted, Everything Everywhere All at Once, and Venom and has also done voice acting roles in Despicable Me 3, The Secret Life of Pets, Zootopia, and so on.

The comedian also published an autobiography-style book called Lifeform this past October. The book is a collection of essays depicting a journey into motherhood that has never been seen before, though it is not the first book she has written.

Jenny's HR Complaint

Through the tumultuous trajectory of the film, it has now been reported that the actress who played Justin Baldoni's sister in the film allegedly filed an HR complaint against Wayfarer Studios President Jamey Heath, who was also a producer on the film, regarding an "uncomfortable" conversation.

The details, which were first revealed by The Hollywood Reporter, claim that Jamey had made a comment regarding the "sanctity of motherhood," leaving Jenny feeling uncomfortable.

The comments were made after Slate had discussed her living situation in New York, where the filming was taking place. The actress has a daughter with her husband, writer and artist Ben Shattuck, and was renting a place due to her toddler and had put down a deposit of $15,000.

The complaint that Jenny filed with Sony claims that she was not happy with the apartment she had rented. The CEO suggested moving, which the actress refuted, saying it wouldn't be possible due to the hefty deposit she had paid. In exchange for this, Jamey suggested that the studio would reimburse the security deposit. However, it was Jamey's usage of language that unnerved Jenny, stating that he quite intensely focused on her role as a mother.

According to reports, this complaint was also initially mentioned in the official documents that Blake Lively filed against Baldoni. However, her name was redacted earlier this week, and amendments were made for the same by the lawyers.
