A video of Dan Crenshaw threatening to kill Tucker Carlson is going viral online.
The Republican congressman from Texas sat down for the viral hot mic moment on Monday, where he seemed to threaten the former Fox News host during an exchange with a British journalist.
In the video, Crenshaw can be heard referring to Carlson as “the worst person," noting that they had never met in person. “If I ever meet him, I’ll f*cking kill him,” said Crenshaw, who is a former Navy SEAL and a representative of a Houston-area district.
Congressman Dan Crenshaw graduated from Tufts University, following which he reported to SEAL training in Coronado, CA. He was deployed several times during that period, though by September 2016, he retired medically. By November 2018, he was elected to represent the people of Texas’s Second Congressional District.
During his time in Congress, he was appointed to the Homeland Security Committee and the Budget Committee. Besides, he was named Ranking Member of the Oversight, Management, and Accountability Subcommittee of the Homeland Security Committee.
Everything we know about Dan Crenshaw and Tucker Carlson's public feud:
According to Politico, Dan Crenshaw also took shots a Carlson's opposition to U.S. aid to Ukraine, noting that he “doesn’t know what he’s talking about.” The two have long been public with their feud, with Carlson referring to Crenshaw as one of “the dumbest” Republicans. Crenshaw, on the other hand, described Carlson as a “cowardly, know-nothing elitist.”
Crenshaw's comments came on the heels of an interview with GB News, a conservative British news channel. The network published the video, and upon catching wind of the threat against him, Carlson took to X to invite him over and make things official:
"Why don’t you come sit for an interview and we’ll see how you do? I’ll send you my address, @DanCrenshawTX," he penned on X.
He tweeted his invitation in response to Elon Musk's tweet, as he asked about why "Crenshaw is homicidal regarding Tucker." However, when a Carlson ally, Georgia Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, took to X to ask Crenshaw if he really did threaten to "kill her friend," he answered: “Lol, no.”
However, reporter Steven Edginton has since taken to X to share proof of the exchange, as reported by The Daily Mail. However, the clip has since been taken down by the channel.
"He told me when I laughed it wasn't a joke," Edginton claimed.
At the time of writing, Dan Crenshaw has yet to respond to the claims.
