Rapper Lil Durk and blogger India Royale seem to have tied the knot. On March 21, 2025, the rapper released his latest track Can’t Hide It. The track featured singer Jhene Aiko and at the beginning of the track, a woman asks:
“So, like relationship status because the ladies will not be happy with me, so like how’s the relationship status?”
Durk replied:
“Married.”
According to People Magazine, the couple started dating sometime around 2017 and engaged in 2021. India Royale is also a mother to two children, Skylar and Willow, welcoming Willow in 2018 during her relationship with Lil Durk.
During his Lollapalooza performance, he proposed to India Royale on stage in front of friends, family, and their children. Lil Durk has also expressed his love for India through music. In 2017, he released a song titled India, featuring her in the video. He later followed up with India Pt. 2 in 2018 and India Pt. 3 in 2020, using heartfelt lyrics to describe their connection.
India Royale is a fashion brand ambassador, lifestyle vlogger, and social media influencer with over 5 million Instagram followers. As a Fashion Nova ambassador, she showcased the brand in clothing hauls on her YouTube channel.
In November 2024, Durk was arrested for allegedly being involved in a murder-for-hire plot. Authorities claimed he paid people to target Quando Rondo as revenge for King Von’s 2020 death. In 2022, Quando Rondo and his cousin Lul Pab were shot at a gas station in Los Angeles. While Rondo survived, Lul Pab did not. The rapper pleaded not guilty, and his trial reportedly begins in October 2025.
Lil Durk said India Royale does not like to get involved in social media debates
In a 2023 interview with XXL Magazine, the interviewer asked why Lil Durk openly shared his feelings about relationship struggles on social media. He explained that his posts were not for attention, music promotion, or competition but reflected his genuine emotions.
Durk added that he didn't worry about how it looked or whether people saw him as weak. Rather, he shared what felt real to him and avoided getting caught up in online opinions. When asked about his relationship with India Royale. He said:

In March 2025, Lil Durk and India Royale took the GQ Couples Quiz. In one segment, Royale asked what she does on social media that she dislikes. Durk responded that he doesn’t like when she gets involved in debates with fans about topics that have nothing to do with her.
During the XXL Magazine interview, Lil Durk was asked how he overcame legal troubles like his 2019 shooting case. He said he relied on his instincts. He follows his gut feeling when making decisions, even simple ones like choosing where to go. Trusting his intuition has helped him stay on the right path and focus on managing his career and finances.
Moreover, when asked how he felt about Jay-Z acknowledging him, Lil Durk said it was a source of motivation. He believed everything happened for a reason, including being in the right place at the right time.
