TV star Vinny Guadagnino, known for his role in Jersey Shore, made an interesting revelation while appearing on Kayla Nicole’s The Pre-Game podcast on April 25, 2025. While commenting on his present stint as a comedian, Vinny said he previously worked as an ecdysiast.
Nicole said she went to see one of his shows in Las Vegas. Vinny asked if it was Magic Mike or Chippendales, to which she replied that it was both. He then said:
“It's great. It's like a I always tell people, it's not like a strip club. I have made like over a million dollars doing it.”
Per Celebrity Net Worth, Vinny Guadagnino has a net worth of $5 million. He went on:
“Just because I have done so many they are called residencies where you stay there and you know it's like the easiest money I have ever made. Just go there live in Vegas, rip your shirt off. What I do now is hard.”
Kayla Nicole said she didn’t think there was much money in comedy at first and asked Vinny how long he had been doing it. Vinny Guadagnino shared that after Jersey Shore ended, he studied improv at UCB and got into sketch comedy.
He said he always wanted to try stand-up but didn’t have the chance until he moved to Manhattan. After that, he started performing every night for free to polish his skills. He explained that it takes years to get good enough to make money by going on tour.
Looking back at Vinny Guadagnino’s Chippendales gig and his journey with comedy so far
Vinny Guadagnino kicked off his Chippendales gig in 2019, according to People magazine. He previously shared a statement with the magazine outlet, saying he had spent a lot of time in Las Vegas and loved being there.
When he became a guest host for Chippendales, he felt excited and joked that his "Keto Guido" diet must have been paying off. The magazine quoted that he injured his ankle as he said:
“Now you may notice I’m walking with a little gangster lean because I actually went a little too hard keeping up with the beat last night and I sprained my ankle. But it’s okay, I’m still here to party with you guys.”
Discussing comedy in the podcast, Kayla Nicole asked Vinny Guadagnino if comedians needed to have thick skin when a joke didn’t land and the audience stayed silent. Vinny said it happened often, especially when trying out new material because he was working toward building a full 30-minute set and currently had about 15 minutes.
He explained that bombing on stage wasn’t as bad as people might think because audiences want to laugh and are supportive. Vinny Guadagnino added that after everything he had done on TV, standing on stage, even in front of a quiet crowd, didn’t bother him anymore since he would likely never see them again.
Vinny explained that he considered himself a "red pill" person, but not in the way some podcasts criticized women. Instead, he meant that he liked to look deeper and see things several layers beyond the surface.
