Mexican TV star and host, Daniel Bisogno, passed away on February 20, 2025. The beloved media personality, best known as a co-host of the iconic show Ventaneando, had been battling complications following a liver transplant he underwent last September.
Pati Chapoy, the renowned TV presenter and Daniel Bisogno's longtime colleague, shared the news on X:
It is with immense sadness that I inform you that Daniel Bisogno has passed away.
She had been posting updates on Bisogno's health for fans, ever since he was first hospitalized because of a ruptured varicael vein on May 27, 2023. She had mentioned that while he would need to make lifestyle adjustments, the presenter was doing much better.
In 2024, after the Lagunilla Mi Barrio actor underwent a liver transplant, Chapoy reassured fans that his health was improving, and he would join work soon. However, Bisogno's continuing health complications prevented him from joining work. Chapoy revealed:
"We are going to comment on the medical part of Daniel Bisogno who, as we informed you yesterday, had a crisis, immediately went to the hospital, had several tests done and his sister Ivette tells us that he is fine, since yesterday he has been well after the tests, stable, and has returned home."
According to Hola!, in a statement, Daniel's brother Alex Bisogno talked about why the late media personality had to keep returning to the hospital:
“The problem with all this is that a bacteria lodged in the bile ducts, it is a bacteria that lodged and has been mutating. Every time we give him antibiotics, it gets stronger.”
Per Deadline, an official statement posted on the Instagram page of Ventaneando shared the details of Daniel Bisogno's demise:
"It is with deepest sadness that we regret to report news we never wanted to give: our beloved Daniel Bisogno has just passed away due to complications he suffered after the liver transplant he underwent last September."
Another statement posted on X by the network, TV Azteca, read:
"Your laughter, your talent, your passion lit up our screens and hearts. Today, we have to say goodbye to you, but your essence and voice will live forever in every memory, in every shared story, and in every moment. Rest in peace Daniel Bisogno. You will always be part of this great family."

Her wishes were orders, because that was on a Wednesday and on Saturday my mother passed away."
News of Daniel Bisogno's passing has sparked an outpouring of heartfelt condolences from fans who cherished watching the TV host on their screens. He is survided by his eight-year-old daughter, Michaela, who he shares with his ex-partner, Christina Riva Palacio.
