Richard Sherman shared the images and clips of the surveillance footage on his social media to share the news and to gain any form of information possible. On X, he said,

If anyone has any info that can help find these people please reach out.”

Richard Sherman claimed that the armed men got past his house's security system by breaking through a window and entering through the rear. His security cameras captured the three armed men, who were wearing masks, passing through his house.

Sherman was also informed by users about multiple robberies that happened in Washington, and he thanked them.

Richard Sherman's wife, Moss, called the experience terrifying. The armed men could be seen walking around with their full bags.

Although she and the children were physically unharmed, she informs us that her children are petrified.

She went on to add more, she shared the same security footage,

“This is what a coward looks like! If this is your family, friend, brother, etc.. do the right thing.”

The Kings County Sheriff’s Office has informed that no arrests have been made yet, but the investigation is ongoing.

Richard Sherman isn't the first athlete to be robbed while away from home

Richard Sherman isn't the only player who got robbed; the burglaries of high-profile athletes have been on the rise, with federal authorities and the FBI warning athletes about such crimes where their houses are targeted. Not just players from the NFL but players from the NBA as well.

Not very long ago, Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes, Joe Burrow of the Cincinnati Bengals, Kansas City Chiefs tight end, and Taylor Swift's boyfriend Travis Kelce were robbed. Luka Doncic of the Los Angeles Lakers, Mike Conley Jr. of Minnesota, and Bobby Portis of Milwaukee of the NBA were targeted in the past. Pittsburgh Penguins star Evgeni Malkin of the NHL.

In February, seven men from Chile were arrested for burglaries in the area.
