Jamie White, a reporter of the media outlet InfoWars, has been killed in Austin, Texas. The news was broken by InfoWars founder, Alex Jones, in a statement that shed light on the tragic incident during the night of March 9, 2025.
As per a report by The Independent, Jones revealed that White was fatally shot dead near his Texas home.
On Tuesday, March 11, Jones took to X to address White’s murder, writing,
“We are deeply saddened to inform you that InfoWars Reporter Jamie White was brutally murdered around midnight Sunday night due, in part, to the policies of the Soros Austin, TX D.A. Jose Garza. We pledge that Jamie’s tragic death will not be in vain, and those responsible for this senseless violence will be brought to justice. Jamie’s important work will be carried on through InfoWars, our readers, and our cherished listeners.”
Jones was referring to policies of Austin District Attorney José Garza in his statement.
According to CBS Austin, the police discovered a man with evident “traumatic injuries” in an Austin residential complex who succumbed to his injuries in the early hours of Monday. As per Fox 7 Austin, the incident reportedly took place in Douglas Street in South Austin. The news outlet reported that the man was pronounced dead after he was taken to the hospital. However, neither news outlet has confirmed yet if the man who was pronounced dead was Jaime White.
Alex Jones linked KXAN’s reports and newscasts on the South Austin killing with the demise of InfoWars reporter, Jamie White.

InfoWars’ Alex Jones on Jamie White’s death
Jamie White had been working at InfoWars, which was founded by Alex Jones in 1999. InfoWars is known for hosting Kanye West on one of its broadcasts after the rapper's Twitter account was reinstated in 2022. Jones was recently in the news for lending a word of support to actor Gene Hackman, who, following his death, was rumored to be associated with controversial figure, Jeffrey Epstein.
According to a video posted to X by Jones, White was “such a good friend.” Jones introduced viewers to White’s setup at InfoWars, and said,
“This was his desk for breaking stuff on the news. He’s up here 6-7 days per week.”
Describing how InfoWars broke the news of White’s death, Jones said,
“No one would have known if we didn’t, if Adan hadn’t gone down there today to his house.”
A colleague of Jamie White could be seen commenting on the news of his death. He said,
“It was a devastating blow to us, it is so senseless.”
In an InfoWars broadcast on Monday, Alex Jones mourned White’s death, saying,
“There are a lot of really cool people that have worked at InfoWars over the years and one of the most amazing people was Jamie White. You know him as a great reporter and researcher. He was up here last night, working late during the Sunday show and after it.”
Continuing, Jones revealed how InfoWars broke the news of White’s death. He said,
“We are, the folks here, breaking that news first because his family has been notified and his good personal friends here that were very close to Jamie have talked to his folks and family.”
Talking about the circumstances of how White’s death was discovered, Jones said,
“We sent some people over this morning when he didn’t answer the phone - he’s always here early. Loves his work, loves to fight tyranny, loves to promote freedom. And when they got to the apartment complex, there was yellow tape everywhere and blood all over the parking lot, went and talked to the manager, they didn’t know anything just like everybody else.”
According to a post by Jones, Jamie White was born in 1988. His posts on X, which talked about White’s death, received numerous messages of mourning offering condolences on the passing of the InfoWars reporter.
