On March 22, 2025, Canadian actor Brennan Elliott’s wife Camilla Row died at 45. She had stage 4 gastric cancer. Elliott shared an Instagram post on that day sharing a tribute to his wife and expressing gratitude to everyone who had supported her through the journey.
He shared that she died early in the morning. Calling her his soulmate, best friend, and the love of his life, he also praised her strength, resilience, and dedication as a mother. Brennan Elliott wrote:
“The pain she endured only I might know but assure all who loved her she is in peace with no more pain. You are with the lord now my queen! You are free! Heaven is a far better place with you in it my love. THANKYOU for being the best wife,mother and friend I’ve ever known.”
Speaking to Today in 2024, Row said:
"If I have limited time, I’m going to make my time worth it and count. Knowing that I can make a difference really helps me feel like my disease is not in vain."
In his Instagram post, Brennan Elliott expressed gratitude for everything Camilla Row did for the gastric cancer community and her lasting impact on his life. He said anyone who knew her was fortunate to have experienced her presence. Elliott shared his enduring love for her, believing she is now free from cancer and at peace. He looks forward to the day they reunite and dance again in heaven.
Brennan Elliott called Camilla Row a warrior
Brennan Elliott shared that Camilla Row had been diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer in April 2022. According to People Magazine, before her demise, she posted an update on her private Instagram account on January 11, 2025.
In the post, she expressed gratitude for each moment of life despite undergoing multiple surgeries and hospital stays that had left her weak and unable to continue treatment. She also shared that she was healing with faith and felt blessed by the prayers and support she received. Speaking to the magazine outlet in 2022, Brennan Elliott said:
“She's hanging in there. She finished her last eighth round of chemo. Well, she's done 16 over the last two or three years. Yeah, she's a warrior.”
In 2024, Camilla Row told Orange Coast Magazine’s Astgik Khatchatryan that she was diagnosed with stomach cancer in 2018 after experiencing persistent reflux pain for two years. However, she considered herself healthy, didn’t smoke, and followed a good diet.
According to her, the diagnosis was unexpected, especially since she wasn’t even aware that stomach cancer was a possibility.
On March 6, 2023, follow-up tests confirmed that Camilla Row was cancer-free. According to City of Hope, Brennan Elliott wrote:
"Today is a day to rejoice in God’s mercy and grace. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to every one of you who has prayed for us and encouraged us along the way."
He thanked everyone who prayed and expressed gratitude to his family. The news left him overjoyed and beyond grateful.
