Former White House press secretary Dana Perino's latest book, I Wish Someone Had Told Me, is slated to hit the bookshelves on April 22 and is already available for preorder.

The latest to come out of Fox News Books: I Wish Someone Had Told Me: The Best Advice for Building a Great Career and a Meaningful Life sees Perino, who serves as the co-anchor of America’s Newsroom and co-host of The Five, dish out advice and mentorship to all who read her books.

Dana Perino was the 26th White House Press Secretary and the first Republican woman to do so under George W. Bush's term. She served from September 2007 till 2009. She now serves as a political commentator for Fox News, among other things.

As reported by Fox News, Dana Perino issued the following statement about her book, which is the 14th title from FOX News Books,

I Wish Someone Had Told Me serves as the blueprint to set its readers up for success in their lives and careers. It features personal anecdotes from several of the author's friends and Fox News personalities, offering "invaluable guidance and wisdom on a range of subjects."

According to the outlet, some of these personalities include Special Report anchor Bret Baier, Jesse Watters Primetime Jesse Watters, FOX & Friends co-host Ainsley Earhardt, The Story anchor Martha MacCallum, country music singer Dierks Bentley, and many more.

Dana Perino also serves as the founder of Minute Mentoring, a women's leadership program engineered to mentor the next generation of female leaders. Furthermore, she is also the author of three New York Times Bestsellers.


At the time of writing, the book is available for pre-order on Amazon for $20.30, while the Kindle version retails for almost $15. In addition to her work as press secretary to the White House, Perino is renowned for her work with Fox News, which she joined in 2009.
