YouTuber Duke Dennis has responded to GloRilla’s mention of him in Jorjiana’s new song ILBB2. Besides the music video, the song became popular because Glo mentioned him in the outro.

However, during a streaming session, Dennis responded to the song. The section of the stream has also been posted on the DukeDennis LIVE YouTube channel.

He said he was supposed to be in the music video but couldn’t because of his busy schedule. Dennis mentioned that many people ask him to be on music videos but he doesn’t because of this reason. He then played the outro of the song that mentions his name. The YouTuber paused for a while and reacted:

“Those two lines are separate though, right? Like the two lines is separate like you wasn’t saying, you wasn’t talking about me, not. It wasn’t talking about me.”

Duke Dennis felt the two lines were separated by “Uh-huh,” which is likely true as the lyrics available on Genius corroborate. The lyrics in the outro mention:

“Uh, uh-huh, they say shooters shoot; Uh, uh-huh, Duke Dennis, what's up with you?”

He also felt the two lines indicated two different people and not him alone, although he said he had no idea who GloRilla was talking about. Dennis said:

“How much ugly though cause ni**a she said a little bit and if we talk like that’s cool at the end of the day because I think everybody is if you look at them long enough, you know what I am saying?”

Duke Dennis said he could make sense of why his DMs were flooded after GloRilla’s music video

Meanwhile, Dennis suggested that the singer could have talked about anybody so he wouldn’t get caught up on that. He replayed the track and after listening again, he felt the singer could have talked about anybody as he said:

“On the right side of the bar, you know, I’ll I’ll manoeuvre however, you know what, this is none of y’all business at the end of the day. Okay, but I definitely see what y’all blowing sh*t up about.”

He addressed that the music was why his messages were flooded with people asking him about it. According to HotNewHipHop, Duke Dennis has had several exchanges with other personalities. For instance, Drake once referred to him as one of his “selfie influences,” though the meaning behind that was unclear. In response, Dennis joked about his own selfies.

GloRilla made an appearance on Kai Cenat’s Mafiathon 2 livestream in 2024. During the session, Cenat played AMP Cypher 2024, an album produced by Hunnid Beats. As the video played, he introduced Duke Dennis as “my boy Duke.”

GloRilla’s immediate reaction was to call him a “pretty boy,” which prompted Cenat to pause the music and ask for clarification. She simply reiterated her statement, explaining that Duke had a certain appeal. Cenat acknowledged that many women admired him. GloRilla then rated Duke Dennis a seven out of ten, mentioning that his energy felt a bit lacking.

In the ILBB2 music video, both artists sported workout attire, taking on the roles of fitness instructors alongside backup dancers. GloRilla is set to embark on a U.S. tour in 2025 which is scheduled to begin in early March and conclude by mid-April 2025, with tickets still available for purchase.
