One moment at Coldplay's world tour show at the Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, has now turned into a viral storm centering on Andy Byron and his alleged affair. The aftermath has seemingly reached the CEO's home.

Married tech executive Andy Byron is the CEO of data platform Astronomer. He has found himself at the center of an internet scandal after concert footage seemingly caught him in an intimate moment with a colleague, Kristin Cabot. The video was shared widely on TikTok and X (formerly Twitter). It shows Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot embracing before quickly pulling apart and trying to hide when they realize they are on the venue's big screen.

Curious netizens noticed that Byron's wife, Megan Kerrigan Byron, appears to have removed his last name from her Facebook profile following the incident. However, neither Andy Byron nor Kristin Cabot has addressed the viral footage or the affair speculation. Nevertheless, the change on Megan's social media has set off a new wave of reactions online.

Pop Base took to its official X (formerly Twitter) page to share that,

"Astronomer CEO Andy Byron's wife removes his last name from her Facebook profile, following viral video of his alleged affair with colleague Kristin Cabot at a Coldplay concert."

Netizens did not wait long to jump into the comment section of the X post as they penned their reactions on the matter. Below are some of what they had to share:

"This is so messsy omg mind yall business", declared an X user.
"Coldplay gave her the soundtrack, Facebook gave her the stage", joked another.
"But why is this such a big deal? Yes I completely disagree with his actions and what they’re doing, but why is every single person posting about this?", opined a third.

Others also chimed in:

"lmfaooo yeah she is gonna win in that divorce", stated a netizen.
"Power of social media. How have things moved this fast? Wonder if Coldplay themselves are going to speak on this", commented another.
"Everyone's blaming the internet, but if one concert cuddle could collapse the whole foundation… maybe the foundation was not that solid. It did not ruin anything, it revealed it. Good riddance.", noted a third.

The incident took place during Coldplay's Music of the Spheres world tour. Frontman Chris Martin engaged with fans using a "kiss cam" — a known ritual at many stadium concerts.

When the camera panned to Byron and Kristin Cabot, Martin remarked cheerfully, "Oh, look at these two." However, the moment became awkward. Cabot turned away and covered her face, while Byron ducked behind a barrier. Martin joked,

"Either they are having an affair or they are just very shy."

Well, the internet was not shy to identify the pair as Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot and weigh in on their alleged affair.
