Twitch streamer Zack, aka Asmongold, has shared his thoughts on the recent accusations against TikTok political commentator Harry Sisson. Sisson is accused of convincing several women to send him explicit photos. Asmongold discussed this issue during a recent livestream.
Asmongold’s Reaction to Sisson’s Alleged Actions
In his livestream, Asmongold criticized Sisson’s behavior. He said it is wrong to lie to women to get explicit photos and believes this shows a lack of respect for them.
“I do find it to be... it is not gentlemanly behavior to lie to a woman and then say I'm only talking to you in order to get nudes out of them. This is not gentleman's behavior. Yeah, no s**t, it's cheesy bad behavior...and there is no problem with doing this.”
Asmon also pointed out the hypocrisy of those who claim to support women’s rights but act differently in private.
"But if you do this and you constantly start, and this is a thing, 'I care about women's rights. I care about women. I respect women.' No! You don't! You say that so you can find more of them to disrespect! That's the reason!"
These comments highlight Asmon's disapproval of using social justice causes for personal gain. Fans are supporting the streamer, saying he is absolutely right in what he says, and are also encouraging him to be bold enough to call Sisson out.
Asmongold Compares TikTok Commentators to “COVID Minecrafters”
Asmongold also compared TikTok political commentators to the “2020 COVID Minecrafters.” He said that whenever one member is exposed for bad behavior or faces public backlash, others quickly distance themselves and abandon them.
“You know what this really reminds me of? It reminds me of the 2020 COVID Minecrafters. The moment that one of them gets exposed for being a f**king, like, a weird idiot. Right? Everybody else immediately in that group just instantaneously roaches out of them. You know?”
This suggests a pattern where online communities quickly cut ties with members accused of misconduct. Asmon suggested that this approach may not always be the right way to handle such situations.
Asmon's comments have sparked discussions online. Some agree with his views, while others stress the importance of waiting for all the facts before making judgments.
The allegations against Sisson have also raised questions about the responsibilities of influencers. As public figures, their every action is under scrutiny, and creators should be mindful of that, according to netizens.
As of now, Harry Sisson has not publicly responded to the allegations, but netizens are waiting to see what he comes up with, as cheating on 11 girls is no small issue on the internet.
Asmongold has also addressed other issues in the streaming community. He recently spoke about allegations that moderators of r/LivestreamFail were protecting his former organization, One True King (OTK). These events highlight the challenges online communities face in maintaining transparency and accountability.
