Katy Perry and Rebecca Black will be hitting the road for the former's Lifetimes Tour together.
The tour is slated to commence this May, and just this weekend, Perry joined Black on stage during her concert in LA. There, she got down on one knee and officially asked Black to join her for the tour. The two also performed Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.), the 2011 track that featured Black in its music video.
Users have since begun reacting to the moment with a mixture of amusement, excitement, and disappointment. Some users felt like getting down on one knee may have been a bit much, while others were simply too thrilled anyway. Here's what one user penned on X, for instance:
"This is devastating because I would pay a million dollars to see Rebecca Black but never like this"
The comments didn't end there. Here's what the others are saying online:
"Yesss, so excited for this! Let’s gooo!" one fan exclaimed.
"OMG‚ this duo is EVERYTHING! Can't wait to see you both slay the lifetime tour," another echoed.
"THAT WAS ICONIC AF IF YOU PROMOTE YOUR MUSIC LIKE THIS," a third chimed in.
"Lame AF. Cringe AF," one naysayer dissed.
While a handful of users were not pleased, scores online were visibly teeming with excitement:
"Aren't you like, in your 30's? cringe," someone noted.
"Sounds like a blast! Can't wait to see what you two have in store for us. Enjoy!" another tweeted.
"Fridays will start making sense a lot more," one user quipped.
"Who even listens to Katie Perry these days," an X user asked.
Sentiments online were visibly varied, ranging from disdain to excitement.

Katy Perry took to Instagram to announce the news, as she uploaded a carousel of photos and video clips.
"About to spend a lot more Fridays with @msrebeccablack," she captioned the post. "Welcome to the Lifetimes tour babes."
For her part, Black also included a behind-the-scenes flashback clip from Perry's 2011 music video for Last Friday Night (TGIF).
"Rebecca and I both love Fridays," Perry says in the clip. "So that's why I asked her to be in this music video because Friday is like my favourite day of the week, and it's her favourite day of the week."
Speaking with Rolling Stone, Katy Perry said of what to expect of their upcoming venture:
"We're giving BPM. We're giving celebration. We're giving unity. We're giving dance. It will be like Disneyland on Wheels, as it always is. A feast for the eyes and the ears."
Katy Perry's Lifetime Tour will see the singer go across the world, though Rebecca Black will only stick around for the North American leg.
