Taylor Swift is reportedly slamming Kanye West for reigniting his feud with her.
The songstress reportedly hit Ye with a cease-and-desist order following the vulgar remarks he made about her alleged intimate life with Harry Styles and Justin Bieber. In his recent, unhinged tirade on X, West accused Swift of getting intimate with Styles and Bieber concurrently, though he failed to back the claim up.
He said of the Love Story songstress on X:
“I’ll show you an example of racism. Justin Bieber and Harry Styles f—-d Taylor swift from both sides and didn’t call me. Oh I forgot. I can’t hold water.”
West, who has been unleashing a string of controversial remarks on X in recent weeks, doubled down on his claims, saying, “ON EVERYTHING THIS TWEET IS ONE THOUSAND PERCENT TRUE.” He continued his Thursday morning tweets, which have now been deleted, by saying,
“IM MAD I HAVENT F—-D TAYLOR SWIFT … YET.”
Everything we know about Taylor Swift and Kanye West's decades-long rivalry as their feud intensifies:
Taylor Swift and Harry Styles reportedly dated from 2012 to 2013, while Swift's feud with Bieber is well popularized. As for her relationship with Kanye West, the pair have long been at odds, stemming from their encounter in 2009.
At the time, West took to the stage at the VMAs as Swift was accepting her award to interject and proclaim that Beyonce was more deserving of the "Best Female Video" award instead.
Their rivalry escalated in 2016 with the release of West's Famous track, where he spat, “I made that b**ch famous," referring to Swift. At the time, the latter claimed she was unaware of the lyric, though Ye's then-wife, Kim Kardashian, jumped to his defense. She released a phone call conversation where Swift can be seemingly heard approving of the lyrics.
According to a source for the Daily Mail, the Carnival rapper “has gone too far” this time.
“His claims are not just false they are defamatory,” they added. “This isn’t just [West] gossiping. This is [West] sexually harassing a woman, defaming her and intending to cause harm to her and to her career.”
The insider claimed that West's latest defamatory remarks “left (Swift) with no other option.” The cease-and-desist is a prelude to more serious legal action, should he continue his inflammatory behavior against her.
Kanye West also claimed that the Bad Blood songstress was one of the reasons he had never been given the chance to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show.
“I never was allowed to do the Super Bowl because of three moments. George Bush don’t care about Black people. The Taylor Swift movement moment. Wearing a MAGA hat,” he alleged this week on X.
At the time of writing, Taylor Swift has yet to issue a formal statement about Kanye West's latest antics, and details surrounding the cease-and-desist remain unclear.
